I find it difficult to believe that, out of this entire network, no one is willing to burn the whole thing down. Democrats throw each other under the bus all the time. I'm not saying you're necessarily wrong - we're all just speculating here - but secrets are impossible to keep, especially juicy ones, and it goes into the realm of "unlikely" in my head to believe some of the Epstein conspiracy theories.
Imagine you're a powerful and wealthy person who got tricked into fucking an underage girl (or you can be a sick bastard that knew what he was getting into if you prefer) and have just heard through the grapevine that your friend Bob is going to release as much information as he has about it. At the very least you'll try to talk to Bob and try to dissuade him. If you picked the sick bastard option, hiring someone to kill Bob is an option for you as well. Your hired gun might not get there before someone else's does. The Clintons aren't going to wait around for someone else to do it and plenty of whistleblowers have died for a lot less than this.
The secrets aren't even all that secret anyway. Everyone knows Prince Andrew is a pedophile and there are plenty of others who took so many flights out to Epstein's island that there's no doubt they were banging girls there. The sick bastards don't particularly care because they can keep being sick bastards. Anyone who wants to fuck kids doesn't care if they're being blackmailed if the blackmailers will let them keep fucking kids and the blackmailers have an interest in keeping anyone under their thumb in power.
The further complaint would be "small towns don't have big city choices like 3 different pizza options, or things to do late at night" and that is correct.
There are plenty of things to do in small towns at night (up until about midnight, but anything a person might be doing after midnight usually isn't very good anyway) but there's not a lot of variety. There's going to be bingo somewhere, there's a high school ball game of some sort, never mind a friend having a bonfire, BBQ, or other small gathering. If you don't like Bingo or high school sports there might not be much else to choose from on a given night though.
Small communities find ways to do things as communities. There aren't a lot of random bars or clubs you can go to and see people you've never met who give as little of a damn about you as you do about them, but you'll spend time with to fill in the hole in your life that's formed due to a lack of sense of community. Cities need to have all of those different things to distract the bugmen who live in them from recognizing how empty and meaningless their own lives are.
