"Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Youtube 100% has a choice, given they decided to set up automaded DMCA claim shit that triggers even if videos are fair use legally, which has led to artists or small studios getting mad when a bunch of their fans stuff gets taken down and pinned as them filing the claim. They also accept blatantly fake DMCAs because contrary to what they claim peopel have noticed for years even before this "ai" marketing shit that google gave youtube especially shitty bot moderation.
I've said it before in other threads but anybody can make a DMCA claim on anybody else's video. Even if you put total garbage info in there, the strike still goes through most times and doesn't get reversed unless you dispute it, and if you do, you hand over your info to whoever made the claim.
I was groomed by Null behind a Whataburger in 1996.
Null stole my bike 2 years ago. He looked me right in the eye as he snipped the chain with bolt-cutters and said "Who's gonna believe you, nigger?"

A tall order, even if this theoretical vtoober existed, the influx of weebs would bring the end times :suffering:
But does it have to be a anime model? Could one not rig up any 3d model to work with the face-rigging software or is there some reason why it's all anime?

Easier in some aspects, harder in others. Before the "vtuber" stuff kicked up as a defined thing the programs people use for it were around for a few years and used as like funny webcam call programs or animation tools. My guess is that there are enough tutorials on the anime style ones that people just end up learning to use the programs through those now and copying of stuff leading to a same-y kinda style. I kinda remember someone in some thread on here sent a video a few months back, one of some guy showing off a non-anime rankinbass stop motion-looking mocap avatar that moved frame by frame. (Yes I know rankinbass' christmas movies were a joint effort with a japanese animation studio)

Well, if 3D just tries to emulate reality, the question is if the effort is worth the result. It would have to be a careful balance between style and reality. I do hope we get a 3D Mutt for April fools though. Someday.

I'm not really an artsy guy, but I'm sure it could be done, I'm just not sure there's a market for it is all. A couple years back I was asking artists if they'd be able to spin up an ugly goblin model for me and all the example sketches were too cutesy or too anime-y and the project ended up dying on the vine.

I think you'd need to give the dog bags under his eyes, 5 o'clock shadow, and maybe a Norwood 5 hairline or else the furries might still make weird art of it. There needs to be more 'ugly' v-tubers as opposed to the anime coom bait.

I'm pretty sure adding those features would not dissuade furries, given the nightmares I've seen online. Still it'd be funny to see!

I think it could work, you might need to have the right personality behind the avatar for the comedy to work, but I think the right person could be comedy gold.

Crazy to think that @Null can make a better looking coin design than Jim Bakker

Also Josh how do you rate that coin design?
I had to look very hard to find the full coin because even searching for it or going to his website doesn't present it anymore.

It's a very poor design. As they said Trump looks miserable. The back is 100% text.

Critically it does not state on the round what its composition is so it has no use as bullion. I would not accept that round in exchange for cheese in shtf.

It's gold-plated junk metal.

You mean you don't like this?
It lightly tickles my fight-or-flight reflex. I do not, in fact, like this.

they're charging 45 dollars for a nickel? that's cringe
Well, you're in luck, you can get significantly better-looking ones for $1.54 apiece and just manually address your prayers regarding Donald Trump instead of using the one from the televangelist that does it automatically.

Finally, a non-troon sexual abuser in Open Source. Yes, I know, many such cases.
