I wonder if there's a written protocol for dealing with narcissists out there. Might help the remnants of his hopeful fanbase get over their e-daddy, or at least prevent future optimists from being exploited by the next e-daddy. The simplest rule of thumb I can think of is saying "don't feed the trolls," since there's literally nothing you can say or do to a bad faith actor like a narcissist without it just feeding their ego somehow. Narcissists are basically natural-born trolls, except they're not doing it for sport or rhetoric, it's just their entire life: Sabotaging everyone around them nonstop while pretending the entire world is magically biased against them because they can't help themselves.
