Sort of true. The land based Cold War era ICBMs are not up to date. But the submarine based missiles are pretty terrifying . One sub can pretty much delete a continent of your choosing inside of 30 minutes. With that capability I’m not too worried that the Minuit man III runs on a cassette tape.
I wonder if this is why there's no care about updating the land based ones? Like they're stationary targets that can be hit back instead of just an invisible force that can pop up anywhere and still launch their payload well after the mainland got blown up. Would explain why Russia focuses on Subs still too.

The constitution isn’t just about words though. Otherwise the second amendment would have been put aside, since it seemingly is about militias.

SCOTUS also looks at (ideally anyways) things like the history and original intent of the amendment.

And regarding citizenship, the history and original intent is fairly clear: The 14th amendment was created to solve the issue of the rights of former slaves.

It was never meant to give citizenship to the kid of any wetback who happened to cross the border while 8 months pregnant.

Even if activist judges later extended the intent of the 14th amendment to include “lol everyone!”
Blackburn's introduced a bill that's been read twice and sent to the judiciary sub-committee aimed at ending "birth tourism". Whether is amounts to anything is anyone's guess. It's an avenue of attack at least.

I'll have to look up more of her voting/bill creation/sponsor/co-sponsor record to she if she's grifting or not.

Which brings up a point that's been bothering the fuck out of me. All of this shit is publicly available so none of this should come as a surprise to anyone. So why is everybody sucking media cock and not just going to the source to find out what's going on? The congress website literally has the voting history of every sitting member of congress and everything that they've ever submitted.

It's me drunken rambling at this point, but it's been bothering me a lot more than I thought it was I guess.

Randi Weingarten should have stayed on her bed that day before she tweeted a dumb comment.

Randi Weingarten’s Fourth of July tweet embarrassingly deleted

By Eric Utter

Randi Weingarten is the president of the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) … and a blithering idiot.

It is no wonder that she often restricts replies to her posts.

Weingarten posted this gem on July 4th: “Hoping this 4rth of July the sun starts peaking thru again.” 4rth of July?

And, in this context, “peeking” would be the applicable word, Ms. Weingarten.

Weingarten is a teacher.

She also tweeted: “The Big Ugly Bill was signed into law today. We’re going to do all we can to support the kids and communities who will be harmed by the massive transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich — and yes, we will be holding folk accountable for their votes.”

See if you can decipher what is wrong with this line/assertion: “Massive transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich.”

This is a remarkably poor choice of words. “Massive?!” “Wealth?!” There can’t be a massive transfer of wealth … from the poor to the rich.
Thank you Tandi for the promotion of homeschooling.

That ICE guy that got shot?

It wasn't just some sped taking an attack of opportunity

They had an Antifa terror cell that was setting off fireworks (same thing they did during the summer of love) and when they coaxed people out of the building to deal with the arson and explosives, they were going to try and kill them

Charged 11 people so far, probably more once they get access to their phones and signal affinity groups

I took a two week break from news, and then came to this thread to catch up on politics and damn son, it sure feels like history is moving much faster than it did when I was younger.
Haven't you heard? History is one of TikTok's most popular content creators!
