I think this certainly supports the notion that Gator is a weak-willed faggot who just goes with the opinions of whatever crowd or person he is trying to please. When Gator is being a loyal janny to Ralph then Null is an evil pedophile trying to ruin poor Ralphie. When Gator falls out with Ralph because Metokur (Gator’s other e-daddy) turns on him, then Null is a good guy because he’s anti-Ralph.
