Police are searching for three suspects in connection with the mass shooting in Philadelphia's Grays Ferry neighborhood that left three people dead and nine others injured early Monday morning.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said the shooting occurred on the 1500 block of South 27th Street just before 1 a.m. Late Monday night, Philadelphia police released a video of three suspects on Ring surveillance who remain at large.
Police said nine victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and three others were taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. One additional victim walked into the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania's Pavilion Campus. Bethel said at least eight of the victims were taken by police.
Bethel said among the injured shooting victims, two of them were juveniles and both are expected to survive.
Victim #1: 23-year-old Zahir Wylie sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. He was pronounced dead at 1:30 a.m.
Victim #2: 19-year-old Jason Reese sustained a gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at 1:31 a.m.
Victim #3: 24-year-old Azir Harris sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the back. He was pronounced at 2:16 a.m.

Bethel said he believes there were around 40 individuals who may have been present at the time of the shooting. He added that there may have been an exchange of gunfire, and dozens of shell casings were recovered from the scene.
Police said one person was taken into custody with a weapon, though their role in the shooting is unclear.
The police commissioner said investigators believe a switch, which makes a gun automatic, was involved in the shooting. Nearly 140 pieces of ballistic evidence were found at the scene, Bethel said.
Bethel described the incident as part of a violent Fourth of July weekend in the city, which saw six homicides and numerous shootings.

The suspect fled the scene after committing the crime and remained at large at press time.
It was around 11:50 p.m. and the restaurant was preparing to close. Santos López, a security guard with more than 35 years of experience, was on his second day at the restaurant when a man entered the bathroom. According to witnesses and family members, López went to the bathroom to ask him to leave. Minutes later, screams and struggles were heard. Some employees were still there, but no one managed to help him in time.

Always a funky sight when you see someone doing a blatant display of what not to do (the two people standing under trees in the middle of a lighting storm), but the one guy doing the right thing (probably walking home or to a nearby building) gets killed.

This is one of the many reasons people are refusing to go fight in these wars because, honestly, how you fight off drones? They are cheap, disposable, surprisingly fast, accurate and can be controlled by far. Outside of tanks, drones can always get you and shooting one down is pretty hard. So whats the point of fighting a war where you literally have "enemies" you cant fight off?
I'd argue that these things arent fair but all's fair in love and war.
Its only a warcrime if your side loses.
The most unrealistic thing about the Terminator is the concept that humanity would ever realistically stand a chance, much less win.

When all we had were clubs, how was it fair fighting the bigger and stronger guy? When we had swords, how was it fair fighting the guy with armor? How was it fair when one side had guns? When one side had better guns? Cannons? Exploding cannonballs? Tanks, planes, bombs, mustard gas, missiles, nukes?
Wars that are "fair" will continue indefinitely and have an enormous cost of life. Wars that one side has an "unfair" advantage are usually relatively short and fewer overall people will die.
Humans will always find better and better ways to kill each other.

You are forgetting one small detail in that analogy, the human element.
Drones remove the need for humans to even be present on the battlefield, even snipers and plane pilots still had to be somewhat "close" to the events for them to be able to make a difference. Drone pilots are just controlling them in some cozy temperature controlled office, probably eating snacks on the side like playing a video game.
How long until we are letting technology fight our fights completely? Dont get me started once we start adding AI into the mix, because from all dystopian futures we could get, "I have no Mouth and I must scream" just had to be the one, huh?
