Squeakross: Home Squeak Home by Alblune
Impressively manages to pull off a Heavy in a goddamn Picross clone with no human characters and no plot.
How does it do so? A large portion of the unlocks (the entire point of the game is to do nonograms to unlock items to customize your rat and their room, so the entire beating heart of the game) are pride flags or pride related items, every single pride flag imaginable is awarded to you via the game's sticker system. What really crosses it into heavy is that the ingame emails you get kvetch about how housing should be free and "we rats should not emulate human trade systems!", ironic given the game costs money.

Peter had 3 years of preproduction to get LOTR just right while he was brought in last minute when Del Toro bailed and only had a couple weeks to get things in order for The Hobbit. had he been given as much time as with LOTR then The Hobbit movies would have been just as well regarded, i think they're pretty good, definitely not LOTR good but still good.

I'm quite certain the (((studio))) pushed for three films. I don't think he was under any legal obligation to do it.

Hideous, mentally ill mutant genderblob has eyes that are at wildly disparate heights. Imagine my shock. Same story with Yaniv. The higher the dysgenic load, the more uneven the eyes.

I actually loved the LOTR trilogy of films (even though they were brutal in cutting out a lot of the actual content of the real trilogy). I completely lost interest when he turned a light novel appropriate for a bright 12 year old into a trilogy. Because that shit was ass. Why the fuck would you do that?
Yeah I know ((($$$))).
It would have made a great 90 minute movie, and we'll never get that. It's the most accessible Tolkien, and deserved a good movie. Emphasis on *A* good movie.

The graphics also look like something you'd see from the 6th or 7th generations.
Even from an indie studio, that's inexcusable in the current year, unless the PS2/Wii graphics were deliberate, which I doubt they were.

Elder Scrolls kinda made it work if you count that thing Yagrum sits on.
Why the guy keeping him as an exotic pet doesn't just grow new legs in a magic vat like he did his daughter wives, I'll never know. Maybe it's harder to make legs than it is to make rule 63 versions of yourself? This raises a lot of Q&A worthy questions, actually.

Call of Duty WW2 has a literal holocaust education level; where you take photos and have a tour of a concentration camp, while the other soldiers state how bad it is. Literally comical.

you also chase after those evil nazis to save your strong and heroic jewish friend and of course there's the girlboss level where you play as the french resistance leader that hunts down the cartoonishly evil nazi that killed her family.

Probably part of the reason why I never really got into WWII; that, and the gameplay being kinda boring, from my opinion.
Also, you can't forget the pride flag emblems in multiplayer, or the ability to play as whatever ethnicity or gender on either side of the conflict that you want; yes, you can play as a black female Nazi.

I did not much hate this idea at first, for it was a quirky life sim and not a serious story meant to desecrate the lore. But holy shit does that look ugly.

Thanks for confirming my initial impressions just from peeping the steam page. Seemed like a fun game to waste some time with as a fan of rats and picross but the artstyle alone left me suspicious there was some evil under the hood. Pattern recognition never fails it seems.
