There are ways to make wheelchairs work in fantasy genres. Peasant not having the means for hiring a cure-all wizard, an engineer/wizard losing their legs from magical/demonic ways that would prevent the regeneration of their limbs. However an engineer/wizard could figure out something much cooler than a wheelchair... Mech golem suit, powered by magic mcgubbins or something.

if he had been crippled by some OP demon or whatever and it's impossible to heal i could accept him being on like a magical floating throne or something but a wheelchair? these people literally have no imagination at all, they just wanted a wheelchair in the game for representation and didn't care if it fit or broke lore and immersion

It's extremely emblematic of the issue with woke. It ruins the realism and immersion for diversity's sake, sometimes in a way that is extremely hypocritical and privileged. A fantasy setting where the elites are in wheelchairs shows the woke mindset that being in a wheelchair is a mark of status. Having poor people in a wheelchair would just look bad because they aren't important.

"I have to 'venture because I need to pay back this sweet Floating Disk from this wizard otherwise he'll break my fingers." Is a very cool introduction for anybody.

If they want lore-friendly politics in their games, aristocrats being the only one able to afford magical convenience versus the poor is a timeless one. Robin Hood steals from the rich and gives it back to the poor, sometimes that's all you just need.

EDIT: I'm all for the cripple in my fantasy settings if it means I can throw them down the stairs.

You can put cripples in games without making it gay and lame.

The badass one armed swordsman is a classic fantasy trope with Guts probably being the most famous example.

Issue is that they either inspire to be the elites (while coming from a medium-high economic household) or are the elites, so how much they are willing to go with criticizing class is limited. Remember, they think a White hobo has more civil rights than Barack Obama.

Not to mention that actually showing how limbless people in third world countries look like is icky, while a Wheelchair and artificial hands look more sanitized.

Hot Dogs, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades (H3VR) is an interesting case.

The game itself is good, and there really isn't anything woke about the game that can't easily be avoided (there are pride flags that you can play around with, including ones comprised entirely of multicolored sausages, a blatant dick joke).

However, the developer himself is pretty darn woke, and the playerbase is infested with troons. They also have the weirdest hate-boner for people like Brandon Herrera.
Anton is a very strange case, he's basically a slightly less retarded Karl from Inrange. The H3VR steam discussion has a explicit rule against "channer crap", and the discord used to, and probably still does idk I left it, a addition to that rule specifically about MAGA and Trump. There's also a old story I heard but can't backup that Anton refuses to add the G41/43 to the game because he got into a debate with a wehraboo and he got so ass blasted he's never adding the gun. And then there's the whole BLM video he made in 2020 about why he wouldn't add anything police-specific and also had a whole ass reading list in the description you had to read before he would take your comment seriously.

Game itself is fine and, at worst, would deserve a mild for the pride flags and I think some of the voice lines for the enemies.

For reference, this character, Faerin Lothar, Unclear what her relation is to the hero from Warcraft II other than "family member"
Not even distantly related, really. She and the Anduin Lothar we know have a very old shared descendant at best, from the Arathi empire that has apparently existed on the other side of the planet this whole time that nobody knew about.

The name is purely for the purpose of giving her entirely undeserved notoriety.

shame, i would consider buying that game to shoot niggers with a g41.
well, time to pirate.

Flying carpets. Put a fucking chair on it like in Ultima 7.
Fantasy wheelchairs are my favorite post-npc-co opt trope. They're so retarded and nonsensical.

Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game was consulted on by Sweet Baby Inc. Confirmed via Camerin Wild’s LinkedIn. Not sure why you need Sweet Baby Inc to do sensitivity reading for a LOTR game. But one thing that is for sure, it is gonna be woke as fuck now.

the Tolkien estate complained about Peter Jackson's fantastic movies not being accurate enough to the source material yet i'm 100% sure none of them will raise a single complaint about this. poor Tolkien, he made such an amazing world and it's just been pissed on the last couple years

Your own blood cannot be trusted beyond your children and maybe your grand children. your great grand children will sell you out for money easily.

No, there aren't. Self-pushed wheelchairs are indoor transportation aids. They're only practical on flat floors inside buildings and quickly become a massive pain in the ass when taken outside, even on sidewalks, where you're best off having someone push you rather than try to manipulate the chair yourself if you absolutely must go out. You can't navigate through the woods, ford a small creek, cross a field, or even push your way down a muddy dirt road.

i will be the obnoxious one and point out how bilbo looks like her and that is a thing one of LEGO studies reached a conclusion some girls do, which is insert themselves into characters in order to make it more appealing for her.
and please, it's a man-hating dyke and not a tranny, how do i know? simple, really:
