When I found the show (Chatting With Candace) through one of the guests around 2020, it had remarkably high quality discussion and had excellent guests, and I had no idea she was a porn star. She's pretty damn smart. Some part of my lizard brain maybe thought she had a specific look, but it took me a while to look her up and realize what she did as a job.

But, again, it seems like she decided her channel wasn't growing fast enough, so instead of real conversations on real topics, she pivoted to salacious talk about the porn industry and, lately, into therapyspeak and "self improvement" guests. (Not to shit on someone like Warren Farrell who showed up recently. He's great.) Unless that's the subject of your show from the beginning, that's the death knell for a podcast IMO.

Also, it's a little self indulgent to bring on guests talking about divorce when you're going through one. Of course, one of her first instincts as a porn hoe after the divorce was decided upon was to post a few images from her photoshoots on social media with comments about how underappreciated she was or about how disappointing her husband was or something. There was a specific comment about her husband saying he would never martyr himself to defend her, something like that. Allegedly this started because she refused to do much domestic work around the house.

And the comments sections under her posts are always great, with only two types of guys: unbelievably pathetic simps, and guys who might like looking at her but will straight up tell her she's expecting to much from men when she's doing porn. The latter gives me hope for gooners
