These two ideas go together. Go volunteer at an animal shelter. Do something outside of yourself. You like cats. Go play with cats.

You don't have to do much of anything. Just being "present" in things that don't center around YOU is helpful.

Your main issue is you get stuck in your own head. It's personality disordered behavior to have a persecution complex.

I still got nothing to say to this aside from medical help.

The way most people do it is that doing something they enjoy creates more energy than it takes. If you can snatch a position where your job in the rescue is holding feral kittens until they get used to it, that's a pretty kino position. But you are a bit of a doomer so idk. Maybe animal rescue might not be the best match.

I say, look into dog sitting? Not a good source of income but you get to be around cute animals so it's not the worst hobby in the world.
