Socialism and Fascism aren't necessarily mutually exclusive, and I do find it weird Marxists think this is the case. They seem to have this belief that socialism was invented by Marx (it wasn't), or a non-socialist can not adopt socialistic views. Marx spent an entire section in the Communist Manifesto, and his entire life really, seething about non-Marxist socialists.

Modern Marxists are split between people who read far, far to much and end up being unable to think of anything besides theory, and people who don't read anything at all apart from snide posts made by red triangle accounts on Twitter.

It's the weird contradiction these people have. Apparently, there can be multiple genders, but not multiple forms of socialism? Lol. They also contradict themselves when they run defense for people like Stalin, democratic socialists, or even modern Cuba, when you point their revisionism of Marxism or even socialism. Yeah, there's a lot of people going after him over this and its an interesting thought that he's intentionally cutting "the left" loose to further ingratiate himself with the DNC establishment like its a cynical career move or something. And his weird tweets nuance trolling over the Epstein case got some responses pointing out his puff piece with Hillary Clinton whose husband was of course very famously involved with Epstein implying Nick has an ulterior motive here.
