I guess this cope beats the reality - that he got bored with her and took advantage of the open nature of the relationship to find someone more suitable. The guy in this (fake ass) story is controlling and seemingly all too invested in the op’s body. Daniel didn’t even care enough about her, his kid, or his wallet to spare the household from freeloading, sexually disordered men delivered straight from fetlife. This seems unlikely, if for no other reason that even with insurance, IVF costs thousands and thousands of dollars. It would have been more cost effective to take Becky to Disney several times instead.

If we take Becky's word, which, yes, I know, then Daniel was particularly hot to have HIS baby first (when it was understood there'd be one baby per Cuck). Reason given was that he was feeling his age, being a decade-ish older than Jack and Becky. I think this was all in that terrible blog she wrote in three times before realizing her entire audience exists on Kiwi Farms.

Daniel was really hot to feel settled as his Dad died and then shortly thereafter, putting tons of money into IVF. I know one thing all grief counselors will tell people is as much as possible, avoid make life-altering decisions while deep in grief. But Danny "married" Becky and did the IVF all around the time of knowing of his Dad's imminent death and then in the aftermath of grief. Doesn't absolve putting a baby in a Becky Gerber, but I've always figured it was probably true that Daniel really wanted a baby - as did Becky. Neither of them for "good" reasons, but I don't think the IVF was just a thing he did to appease her.

Becky has an incredibly disordered relationship with reality. If you were to hook her up to a lie detector while she made these sorts of statements, I believe she would pass it, because she whole heartedly believes whatever she is saying, but only in the moment she is saying it.

If Daniel was to do a 180 today and tell her that he's dumped his new woman and he is BEGGING to come back and be a fulltime paypig again, Becky would be love bombing him within the hour and talking about how he's always been the best provider and loving parent a disabled jewish transman could hope for.

She has zero emotional stability or insight into her own behaviour. If you were to confront her with a timeline of her own words and tweets, she would immediately accuse you of being a malicious troll rather than confront the contradictory nature of her own perceptions.

Most game studios and tech companies and corporate legal departments have coverage for infertility treatments. I would be very surprised if neither Daniel nor Jack could cover Becky for IVF. Of course Becky talks about how expensive it was, but she does that all the time even when the expense is covered by someone or something else. I will say I relate to the bummer feeling of your birthday feeling ignored post-baby. But you also realize that - yes, this year isn't going to be a huge affair - because you have a baby and they need you. That's just part of parenthood.

Tbf all of that is on her shuttered Twitter and she started fresh on BlueSky recently. So without this thread, theres no record of the IVF saga now for people to review. Bex likes to sell an exaggerated version of events to her audience, and she banks on being the only narrator of events too.

The IVF saga happened because of Daniel. I recall Bex bragging his insurance was covering the IVF. But she had been going on about wanting a baby for YEARS before this. They were actively trying before and Bex detailed stuff like scheduling sex with Jackson and Daniel during ovulation periods - while complaining because she feels "asexual" towards both of them.

Also- Bexs personality was wearing on both her and Jacks parents and the money train was starting to dry up. Having a grandchild at least encouraged Mami and papi to keep pitching in for them.

Nah, that was a claim filtered through Becky. I don't think this was his reasoning, unless you want to completely over-generalize complicated human feelings for the online asspats like Becky does.

I suspect it's more like "Daniel really wanted to support Becky through IVF because he knew she was deeply saddened by her apparent infertility and hoped having a baby would fulfill something for both of them, even bringing them together as a couple." But that doesn't sound shocking enough for online progressives.

Well, so did Lovecraft. Not all Pratchett's books are good, he wrote over 40 of the damn things and the quality in certain works tends to wobble, but his best ones actually approach what can be described as moral philosophy. He writes about highly principled characters who never compromise with their beliefs and still manage to come out on top in the end, which feels extremely gratifying to self-righteous twats on the Internet because they see themselves as the splitting image of Granny Weatherwax and Sam Vimes and not Cosmo Lavish or Crispin Horsefry.

Becky manages to irritate me in a thousand little ways, from appropriating the works of a beloved author to casually indulging in childhood dreams of mine that I will never be able to cross from my bucket list, on top of being a genuinely horrible person. Not to defend the troon (and holy shit, dude, put down the thesaurus!), but I do kind of agree with his original point that a lot of social bubble-wrapping gets implemented with the reasoning of “there are children here so therefore this space is for children and needs to be safe”, rather than anyone going “wait, we shouldn’t have to do this, there shouldn’t be children here in the first place”. (And I actually do recall reading an article a few years back about a brewery/pub that announced they were going to make things more family friendly, which a lot of their patrons understandably had issues with.)

The ironic part is that lot of time, a major force for that is parents like Becky: Either too neglectful to actually watch their own kids, too self-centered to understand that having kids means a major lifestyle change, willing to use their children as a way to manipulate and lord over others, or any combo of the above.

Glad to see she’s found new ways of utilizing the standard SJW argument of “when I demand other people go out of their way to do stuff for me, I’m actually just asking for accommodations, so you have to comply or else you're a bad person”.
