True, but IIRC that was because he tried to glaze Pippa (and then Tomoe) to high heavens - and libtards being libtards, they viewed that as downright betrayal. Even though in DMs, Anal also hates Pippa, vehemently.

From what I saw, he was already pretty well hated over the breeding camp stuff, and has been somewhat disconnected for years from the larger Trans-sphere or whatever you'd call it.

My assumption is that Valens is a freelancer who can't really be fired, but can be restricted. that's probably why Valen's was forced to move all his porn game stuff to his substack.

She's being deliberately deceptive. The only thing that would make a "fake voice" unsustainable would be if she was pressing above or below her natural register. If you're speaking at a pitch your body is comfortable with, cutesy affectations won't add any meaningful amount of physical strain. Obviously she's never "been accosted for it" because she can simply drop the "childlike" bit if she's out in public around normal people. Her voice is perhaps on the higher side of normal female ranges, but if you imagine a woman speaking at that pitch you'll immediately realize Shondo isn't doing anything strenuous. Basically, she's setting up a strawman that she can deboonk epic style.

I call bullshit.

cant you find old videos of hers where she speaks at a normal register before she went in on the Shondo character? I think around the days where she vauge-seethed at Fauna/Nimi getting into Holo

She has a collab with Nimi/Fauna (then known as Lemonleaf) from 2021 and her voice is noticeably more British, but still as high-pitched.

If that footage exists, it'd be interesting. It raises at least two questions though: first, how much different/deeper are we talking about? Second, is it even right to assume that an older/deeper-sounding voice is the "normal" one?

It's worth remembering that we're talking about women playing pretend online. We shouldn't be taking their word about anything, absent some sort of evidence to back it up. My personal take is that she knows what she's saying about her voice isn't true, but she's saying it anyways because she wants to throw some red meat to her audience and maybe dupe a few naive tourists as a bonus. It's calculated deception; she's trying to protect what is probably the best source of income she will ever have in her life. If her hustle wasn't so repulsive, I might pity her.

What a liar. There's literally a past stream where she admits to her voice being fake. The video is posted in her dedicated thread. There is also a difference between faking pitch and faking her way of speaking which she very obviously does.
