I think there is a meta line between tacky and outright detestable statements. For instance, Ralph today calling a baby in the Imholte family (by a photo publicly posted mind you) ugly is incredibly tacky, but no one would take Ralph as even “co-signing” abuse or harassment of that child whom is now like 10 years old (and may look prettier according to Ralph). It’s just low brow under the belt humor.

Is Imholte trying to maximize his internet points by lawfare a la masterson? Yes. Is Imholte a sex pest bonehead way over his head? Absolutely. Does Imholte have a legitimate and fair case against Melton? Yes

However, rather than give a well worded response, I will say this: Patrick Melton is an Ugly, abhorrent human being with boomer fans who are somehow uglier than him...he should rot in hell, and he is always guilty (which is why he's breaking out- even his body knows he's a scumbag)

NLO summary about the HRO filed by Aaron. This is from the hour before he went to Members Only:

- He won't be going on This Little Piggy for 2 weeks, until the 23rd. "I'm going to be cautious."
- He's removed Aaron's voice from his own Supertips
- Says Aaron has lied about him
- He's in contact with his lawyer "several times a day" and is clearly stressed about the cost
- Says he could be arrested at any time
- He was served with the HRO on July 2nd, a few days after Nick's was served. They came to his door while he was streaming so he didn't get the door. He called the sheriff and they delivered it later that afternoon.
- This is the second time this has happened to him
- He says he has a "jail sentence hanging over my head"
- A Supertip asked him to give up the "guttertrash". Melton said he understands that sentiment. He seemed pretty stressed.
- He disavowed something that Citizen M said in the chat (I didn't catch it)
- He will not have to travel to MN. He got approval to Zoom into the hearing

Both Melton and Nick should really really look at what Minnesota has previously classed as "indirect contact"

They've considered Facebook posts, not even directly mentioning the person or tagging them, as indirect contact. They've considered a YouTube video, not directly referencing someone, as indirect contact.

The standard is essentially anything that can be seen as foreseeable to reach or influence the protected party. It's super broad.

Did Aaron's past allusions to Ashley gearing up for legal threats or legal action against MAPton actually materialize and succeed in getting him to take that voice down, or did he coincidentally take it down out of the goodness of his heart?

As of this post, the "Steel Toe" and "Girl" characters are indeed absent from MAPton's roster for now, though several characters that only ever mattered as a means of mocking Aaron, such as "Beggie Monster" and "Coach Scott," still remain. Unsurprisingly, Nick's remains unchanged.

Two thoughts on this:
  1. I wonder why Ashley didn't join the HRO. FC has proven pretty decisively that Ashley was considering filing one for their daughter.
  2. Melton clearly took pics of Aaron in or around the courthouse. If he hadn't, he'd have said so. It would have made him look better.
On the second point... I imagine that there are cameras all over that courthouse. Aaron needs to get the evidence of Melton and his minions stalking him. It seems silly to have to point that out, but Aaron has a history of being dumb.
