This is the current scene at the "Unf*ck America Tour" in Tampa, which is trying to counter the Student Action Summit.

Violent leftist arrested outside Student Action Summit at the Tampa Convention Center.

Witnesses say he started mocking MAGA supporters, jumped out of his car, and then assaulted a man on the street.

Cops immediately moved in and swarmed the suspect.

Taken as an utopian vision, it's wonderful. But it's also completely unrealistic, unworkable. and counter-productive in the real world.

It's actually not wonderful at all and is nightmarish.

"From those according to their ability, to those according to their need" means that the productive and useful become slaves to the unproductive and useless. The exact opposite of how you would want to order society.

I'm not too interested in defending the socialist autist in the thread but I'd be lying if I said I was eager to vote for either Bush/Kerry, Obama/McCain, or Obama/Romney. They were all lose lose situations. Trump was someone that we all believed in and he actually managed to make it to the big two, it was a different kind of election cycle and you could feel it.
I don't believe in the lose/lose cope. Democrats are the party of tranny rapists and always have been. Even as far back as uncle Ted they were pushing the tranny shit when they tried trooning him out. They are eternal traitors. I will pick the Republicans every day of the week.

Doomers of all stripes fail to recognize this. If you're a major financial company and the leading Democrat candidate is taking about taxing you to death, and the Republican is talking tax breaks, who the fuck do you think the major financial company will back?
The Dem. You finance them to influence them, suddenly that corporate tax that was promised to be punitive suddenly acts more like a moat, smothering up and comers but you have the resources to bare it.

Have you even read the Constitution?
I'm genuinely curious, what part of this isn't getting through?
Yeah no fucking shit I've read the Constitution. You're arguing that this is a very obvious and totally legal and constitutional thing to do when no President has ever, in US history, exercised this authority, and moreover the Roberts Supreme Court has shown extreme reluctancy to expand the authority of the President to make recess appointments, see NLRB v. Noel Canning. This is completely untested. Current precedent is that recess appointments can only be made of the Senate is both in recess and unable to perform Senatorial duties, the President recessing Congress by decree specifically to ram through an appointment is a clear infringement on the powers of Congress.

Just imagine if Biden or Obama did this. There's no way the Supreme Court would allow this. This might even be an impeachable offense. Historically the Supreme Court has given very, very broad deference to Congress on determining what constitutes being in session or recess.

Correct. Eventually tho this ploy will fail and the finance bros will have shot themselves in the face by backing the wrong commie dirtbag.

Marx never laid out detailed plans for his vision of a utopian society. Das Kapital is mostly about how capital functions and reproduces itself in the industrial capitalist system, stuff like what M-C-M' is and using the production chain for bolts of cloth to illustrate how the M-C-M' cycle functions.

Marx was also not the first socialist, Utopian socialism existed decades before Marx penned his first work, the founder of which, Robert Owen, was a deist capitalist(textile mill owner) born in Wales and raised as an Anglican. Marx's scientific socialism was in direct opposition to utopian socialism for various reasons which I won't get in to here, but there are also many similarities.

If you find the idea of reading Das Kapital frightening, just read Wealth of Nations. Smith(or Ricardo) will get you most of the way there in terms of critiquing the current global oligarchical system, but you do have to read if you wish to understand the world today.

The current system reminds me a lot of a decaying fascism but with all the cultural value markers inverted and with its base of power being found in a sort of triumvirate alliance of the Oligarchs, Professional Managerial Class, and Lumpen proles rather than the Oligarchs, independent small businessmen, and the disaffected and wealthier stratum of the working/peasant classes. Instead of the out groups of society being demonized they are worshiped, stable families are bad rather than good, normal sexuality is bad/boring etc etc, if you're here you probably know this part already.

Anyone who supports a politician or political party and excuses their complicity in the pedophile blackmail network perpetrated by the oligarchs and western and Israeli security services is immensely pathetic, if someone started defending Beria or Mengele they would(hopefully) be laughed out of the room, and yet this is treated as the political equivalent of a football match by many posters here and on the wider internet. It is common knowledge by now that many high ranking politicians from both wings of the American Uniparty are compromised by this blackmail of them commiting horrible crimes that continues to be held over them, and the Epstein operation was just one of many including NXIVM, Southern air Transport, and Marc Dutroux's network in Belgium. It is fairly safe to assume that just about everyone in the western aligned industrialized world that attains a certain (high)level of wealth and/or political power is compromised in some way.

All Zionists must hang.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

The bourgeoisie who side with the commies always think they'll be rewarded as heroes. They never realize they'll be the ones ripped from their mansions and forced into the mines.

On top of this
  • The roof the shooter was on was occupied by local law enforcement prior, who left the roof because of the "summer heat" yet left the ladder unsecured
  • Trump's secret service detail was not his regular detail but instead a bunch of not even B-team rejects
  • The counter snipers had clear sight to the building, had clear eyes on the shooter, would have seen him with the rifle, but did not shoot until after he had taken several shots at Trump (eight total)
  • CNN was on hand to film the rally despite not usually filming Trump rallies
  • unconfirmed reports of armed individuals on the nearby water tower who weren't security
There are too many conveniences that had to line up for the shooter to get where he did, and take the multiple shots he did. The moment those counter snipers saw the rifle, they would have been more than justified in shooting the would-be assassin. If you or someone else tried to point a rifle at any former president, or a presidential candidate, in clear view of counter snipers, you would be shot. No ifs, what's, or buts about accidently killing someone innocent. The fact he got multiple shots off is clear evidence this was more than a lapse in security. They had eyes on the shooter, they saw the muzzle flash. They had a clear shot. I keep hitting this nail because of just how insane it is. The snipers saw him before he even started shooting, and did nothing till he got several rounds off. Somebody orchestrated a hit against Trump, and only by God did Trump live.
I would go so far as to say if you got on the roof of any building with a large formal gathering downrange with a rifle while not being a uniformed officer you'd be getting aggressively accosted at minimum.
There's also a few other extremely sus actions after the botched attempt.
  • Crooks was cremated days after the assassination attempt, maybe there was nothing else to gain from his corpse, but a more thorough investigation is now impossible
  • His house was scrubbed clean, no particular evidence could be gained from it, maybe Crooks is a meticulous cleaner, or his handlers didn't want anything being found afterwards
  • Secret Service spotted him 20 minutes earlier scoping out the area with a range finder, these guys usually start pounding on doors if you flutter a curtain while in their area and they ignore this?

Don't forget the aftermath, the shooter's discord was quickly deleted, the SS and FBI directors refused to answer any questions in the hearing, and the dems dialed down the rhetoric from calling Trump a mega tyrant Nazi to just "weird" to avoid any liability.
