A lot of these major corporations put their money where the wind is blowing
It's not that surprising.

For as much as Doomers/TES regulars try to rewrite history, things were looking dire for if Kamala won.

Since about 2022 there's been nothing but news of companies and corporations fleeing Blue areas

Karen Bass wins: Trump can no longer enforce Immigration Law in LA.

We are one ruling closer to a Federal Judge ruling Immigration Law and deportations can no longer be enforced in the US period, and that all immigrants must be given amnesty.

This is where we are. Total Lawfare to stop Trump's agenda and change the laws of the US.
You could say exactly what everyone says about the Epstein list, just think of it like "If you actually expected mass deportations of illegal immigrants you're retarded, very unrealistic as the CIA and Deep State won't allow such a thing." and you'd be right. I'm curious where the amnesty talks Trump has been having are going to go.

I don't get it. If this is the level of professionalism we expect from a first-world country, we are doomed. Please rationalize to me the point of this sort of posting. Also rationalize to me why Trump backtracking to the Epstein files is a good thing despite his assurance of government corruption being exposed to the wild. If not, you're just as bad as me with Hillary Clinton.
I think there are some bad times for the administration to post memes, but I'll take anything I can get at the moment that's not total doom from the White House. And as the White House account said last night, "nowhere in the Constitution does it say we can't post banger memes." and like I said last night, the Founding Fathers would have loved memes. If you think the Trump administration's Xitter account is too unprofessional you would have really hated a lot of our Founders and early Presidents.

this would actually kick off the boog, the people who grow and sell weed are not the people who melt their brains with it.
But they're also not hardened criminals or some crew of Branch Davidians. They're a bunch of middle-upper class people selling shit or a faceless corporation. They'd fight tooth and nail: In the courts, but would fold like wet tissue when the squad walks up with a warrant. I bet you if the feds gave a week heads up that all dispensaries/grow ops need to destroy or otherwise relinquish their product or face the full force of the law, barring the inevitable judge injunction, 99% of them would scatter with their tails tucked between their legs. You'd maybe get one based retard in a thousand that actually pulls a gun on what he knows are cops.

What a beautiful locale to build an equitable slum at public expense.

Those who don’t want to live in that kind of neighborhood will get out, leaving behind a higher percentage of government dependents to guarantee the election of still more unhinged shitlibs. California yet again confirms it's succumbing to the Democrat Death Spiral.
Surely the rich NIMBYs living in neighboring Brentwood will have something to say about Pacific Palisades being rebuilt as a Section 8 hellhole? The saving grace for them here is that California is such a joke at building anything that they'll have years and years to figure out how to deal with it.

It's time for the perception of progressives as being kind, well-meaning doofuses to end, they're every bit as spiteful and hate-driven as the most curmudgeonly chud caricature. They just direct it towards acceptable targets (white people).
Progressives and leftists in general today are literal terrorists calling for blood in the streets and telling their politicians and supporters to be ready to shoot people or get shot. They have been trying to shoot members of ICE on sight. They aren't even comparable to the right and their memes, comparing them as "they're every bit as spiteful and hate-driven as the most curmudgeonly chud caricature." is fucking retarded. The right isn't trying to kill US citizens.

Doomers of all stripes fail to recognize this. If you're a major financial company and the leading Democrat candidate is taking about taxing you to death, and the Republican is talking tax breaks, who the fuck do you think the major financial company will back?

On this, you and I agree 100%. Democrats look and sound like bloodthirsty psychos right now and, if you point it out to them, they'll say it's true and justified. Posts on /r/politics sound more deranged and violent than /pol/ and that's been a very odd phenomenon to watch.

I don't watch any kind of political TV but I did see a lot of viewers remark at the time that the Republican National Convention, held a couple days after the failed shot, was suggestive of a plan to move on from Trump and nominate Nikki Haley (and VP Vance), like it was a show cobbled together out of leftover parts that show.

The plan was "in the air," as they say.

I don't think it would have mattered. If Americans were going to start kicking over the moneychangers' tables, we'd have done it long ago. We know we've lost, and we realized too late.
I don't believe it but it does ping certain plausibility alarms in my head. The plan for 2016 was supposed to be Jeb vs. Hillary, the matchup that eliminates for both sides the ability to dismiss the other as an establishment "dynasty" candidate in a country that doesn't really want them. The Republican primary election fucked that up just like Hillary got fucked up in 2008 in the Dem primary. For 2024, a similar plan would be to get two establishment choices in while dodging BOTH primaries so an establishment win is guaranteed.

The logical consequence of appointing people for their politics rather than their legal knowledge is to have them try to use the law to suit their politics.
Carter did the exact same thing. He appointed people under a "rainbow commission" intended to increase black, hispanic, women, etc. judges. Turns out the majority of impeached and convicted judges in America come from Carter's "commission" because when you choose based on local power politics and race, you get corruption and bad judges. I don't like when the right chooses "based" "conservative" judges either, because many of those judges spent more time penning articles about obscure constitutional issues rather than learning how to handle litigation, so sometimes they end up as horrible judges just in terms of competence.

Is it too hard to just ask for judicial appointments of people who can get their work done effectively and quickly, and who are easy to work with? I don't really care for whom my judge votes as long as they just look at the law and the facts and come to efficient and justifiable resolutions.

appointing judges purely based on competence would be cool, but in a system where judges wield significant political power that would be just stupid.
when judges are political players, you have to put political loyalists there, otherwise you're gimping yourself in the eternal power struggle that is politics and putting your interests at a disadvantage.

They had been talking about the "coalition of the ascendant" for years. The idea was they had the following votes locked in:
  • Women, due to abortion & feminism
  • Blacks, because duh
  • Hispanics, due to open borders + gibs
  • Non-Christian, university-educated people, due to being the Party of Science
  • Fags
Add all those up, and it amounts to everyone in the country except blue-collar white males voting Democrat. They couldn't conceive of it going any other way. All they had to was max out immigration, and they would never lose another election.
Spot on, man. Your posts are so good.

Democrats truly believed they reached the endgame of politics with their coalition of the dispossessed. They drank the Kool-Aid that America's problems were class-based and all they had to do to win for eternity was get enough rich people to be nice and throw everyone a bone, throw out all the "bad" rich people, and rule like nobles. Democrat ideology is not very different from the weird corpo-state ideology of Curtis Yarvin, but the US is not a class-based society like many European countries. It just isn't. Politics are dynamic and people change. The Biden administration hoped that throwing enough gibs would make everyone happy and it didn't work.

Wait until da homos find out that the rooftops weren't just a vast right wing conspiracy meant to demonize those poor innocent immigrants.
They'll "find that out" about 1.5 seconds before they hit the pavement.
He was reluctant to cut the rates because the economy is not stable, especially because trump announces new tariffs if a world leader looks at him the same way.
I get advertisements to finance fast food and no one I know is raising families or buying houses because the boomers either imported our replacements, exported our jobs, or bought up our houses to rent to wetbacks chinks and jeets while they fucked off on cruises and trips to vegas to avoid having to experience the fallout.

If a stable economy got us to this point, of what use is economic stability? Chaos brings change, change brings opportunity.

If I can't have even a modest slice of the American dream because the fuckcunt 70 year old boomer asshole down the street bitching about the renters in his 5th property being late paying him cause of an ICE raid in the region and how that might mean he'll have to dip into his 3 or 4 $25,000 completely paid off credit cards on his upcoming trip to Alaska needs me to do without for the rest of my life to avoid him enduring even 1 second of unearned opulence less, then fuck it. Fuck it all and fuck people like him in particular.

Let it burn. Let it all burn. Trump IS the compromise. They aren't going to like what happens next.

TLDR: 1. It's online, so the only people who care about professionalism (older people) are less likely to see it. 2. "Professionalism" is irrelevant in the modern day if the "right image" doesn't actually translate into appreciable action. 3. The Left-wing started it, the Right is catching up; immaturity and humour appeals to a cynical youth.
Your third point is valid; I hate how social media culture is seeping into everything.
If you think the Trump administration's Xitter account is too unprofessional you would have really hated a lot of our Founders and early Presidents.
Show me examples where the Founding Fathers act like some boomer on the Internet or some attention fiending Gen X/Z person. Culture changes over time.

I am very confident that, if Trump got domed, that would have been instant civil war. No doubt in my mind. I still think that kid was groomed and there's no excuse for how close he got. There was literally a fucking ladder set up on the building for him. Maybe there is a logical explanation for everything and it really was a perfect storm of coincidences, but - as @Elim Garak might say - with a very convenient assassination in one hand and a dead candidate in the other, I ask you: what conclusion would you draw?
How many lards do you think would get out of their recliners and shoot eachother over something that doesn't directly and immediately affect them? Trump getting capped wouldn't have made food vanish from grocery stores or get rid of the police or other emergency services. Americans are some of the laziest and most cowardly people on the face of the Earth.

Note how the left has at least two reliable votes on SCOTUS for everything they want (Kagan actually has a principle or two). Jumanji and Consuela might be retards, but SCOTUS decisions don't have to be smart; they just have to get at least 5 justices on your side. And if the left has five actual retards on the bench? They know our side respects process and the rule of law, so even if the majority opinion is written in crayon with visible drool marks on the paper, they know we'll just meekly go along with it.

This is utter lunacy. Americans are the insane neighbor who will ask you how your day is going and offer to help you fix your car one day and then operate killdozers the next.
