I think a lot of us (myself included) had an 'ironic' liking towards Card way before all of this became known. Simply because we all assumed he was just an innocent lolcow and I think deep down, we all sort of wish we had more innocent lolcows...

I mean lolcows back in the 2000s to 2010s are mostly just autistic men on the internet saying funny things (with some glaring exceptions) but it was all generally low stakes. Here, lolcows of the 2020s are almost all pedophiles, domestic terrorists, mass killers, and/or politicians on average.
