Bluesky - "Decentralized" Twitter Alternative. Leftist Tranny Hugbox. "Answer" to Elon Musk's "Fascist" Takeover of 𝕏 (Formerly Twitter).

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
A look at "Discover" today - this is the bargaining phase, I think. "We have less users and the site's dead, but it's better without Nazis and also the media is against us".
here's a timeline of how bluesky cope will go in the future.

bluesky isn't losing users.
if bluesky is losing users it's not the majority.
if bluesky loses the majority of users we're better off. <- you are here
and if we need them to make bluesky good, it's not my fault.
and if it is my fault for driving them off it wasn't on purpose.
and if i did it on purpose, they deserved it for being chuds.

I dunno, if a site like RetardEra can run for years now, I don't see why PedoSky can't do the same. 🤷‍♂️

I'm sure it'll exist like Gab continued to exist, but considering how many of the same people (accurately) mocked Gab and other right-wing websites when Twitter started getting overly jannie'd it must be quite a blow to their ego that people didn't want to follow them. A lot of those that left for BlueSky genuinely believed that they were the reason for Twatters success when they were the reason why they pissed off Elon enough to buy it in the end.

Hugboxes are boring. The Boomercons on Gab and the shrieking dangerhairs on Bluesky are entertaining for a while, but their schtick soon grows tiresome. Unchallenged affirmation may be good for insecure people, but most people who aren't in the club are going to find it tedious.

It's performative bullshit "for the disabled". You see this on Fediverse, too.
Alt text is part of modern Best Practices™️ that everyone is taught in college. Every single image should have alt text because it makes sites easier to understand for blind people using screen readers.

Of course, given the insane clutter of the modern website, they're all unusable with a screen reader anyway, so it's a meaningless gesture. Go ahead and open up a top 10 website and have a screen reader read it to you. It'll be half an hour before it gets to the actual content. I don't even know how a blind person could be expected to navigate something like Bluesky considering at any given time there's like 700 buttons on your screen.

This is great stuff, y'all are just mean.
Kobra Olympus is a fairly average young woman in 2015.
Just your average trans lesbian, muslim, gymnast and web developer who hears voices from the future, that is!
she's been conscripted by time travelers from the future, and equipped with advanced technology, to fight in the Time Wars, a never ending conflict between Humanity and Vampirekind. As the enigmatic Agent Tha, she battles inhuman monsters, strange creatures, and Vampire soldiers.

Sometimes I make it read long Kiwi posts. You can pick where it starts to read.

I subscribe to the theory that it is a psyop which leverages Inclusion to make people voluntarily produce training data for image AIs.

What is this art style? It's like the Family Circus color palette cornholed a down syndrome Venture Bros fan comic.
According to the author:
The style of art, as well as the style of storytelling, is deeply influenced by midcentury creators like Bill Everett, Jack Kirby, Harry G Peter, William Moulton, and Stan Lee. The bold black lines and block colors evoke a bygone era, while the setting and tone are irrefutably contemporary. We wanted to contribute to the future of comics, while also honoring their past.
The dull colors of Issue One is what they were originally going for apparently, but they digitally recolored from Issue Two onwards.
The original art by Swaptrap is inspired by midcentury classics, and therefore has bold coloring. But to provide an alternative, we asked up-and-coming Filipina artist Duende to draw inspiration from modern computer-colored comics, and create a more deep and rich color version
To recap, this is an Hispanxic Muslim trans lesbian author living in Seattle, a Indian artist and Filipina colorist, trying to make a "irrefutably contemporary" mid 20th century super hero comic book. Clashes of style and tone are to be expected.
