She wasn't kicked out of Kuwait. She left voluntarily before her case was adjudicated.With her record of being kicked out of Kuwait would the US even let her stay for an extended period of time? I know you don't need a visa but that's for short periods.
According to the Canadian government website, Canadians can usually stay in the U.S. for up to 6 months without a visa. However, if they stay longer than 30 days, they need to register with the U.S. government. (They're sometimes automatically registered upon arrival).
