I'm a long-time Trump supporter. I voted for Trump after a year of championing the NeverTrump movement in 2015 and voting for Kasich in the primary. Then, again, in 2020, I voted for Trump after years of suggesting that he should step down and let Pence take over.
Did I abandon him in 2024? No. I did say he should have been ineligible to run after Jan 6th and that we needed to move on from Trump, and I championed DeSantis' primary challenge, but I once again voted for Trump in 2024.
As a fellow conservative, I can't abide this any longer. Are there reasonable ways to criticize Trump over the handling of the Epstein files while still acknowledging the massive successes of this administration? Perhaps, but now isn't the time for that. It's time to panic and desperately try to earn approval from my liberal friends. I once again declare MAGA finished and will be campaigning for Haley/Kinzinger in 2028.
