I had already clipped the part where Jason said that his "government hacker" job could be replaced by AI, but since the Slop News Network guy is planning to cover his claims about being a hacker, I decided to make an extended version to send it his way. He says that all he did was "run a shitty scanner and write reports" with no mention of hacking power plants. The way he speaks about his job makes me think that the office level in his game is actually based on his government job rather than Blizzard.
EDIT: the voice changer malfunctions in a funny way at 1:18

Any autistic nigga can archive that and search his excuses about the array? I would do it, but I'm a lazy fat ass nigger.

I might look for the array excuses after youtube generates a transcript.

So all this talk and snippets about his code but nobody talked about his ultra-top-of-the-line ray tracing "engine" he said he made?
He's been quite silent about that for a while too
First time I've heard about this. The amount of focus on his code and optimizations he could make seems pointless to me and retards like coding jesus are just milking it for content right now because Mald is the new hotness. It's a shitty 2D game made in Gamemaker so who cares how well it's coded it's one of those things like, if it works it works, Undertale also has shitty coding and that was pretty successful.

The only thing that should be made a point of about his code is how he claims to be some long time game dev with experience but is writing shit like an intern. Exposing him for this raytracing engine that most likely doesn't exist would be nice.

That was the most honest and refreshing self report I've ever heard from him. Was that so hard Maldy?

I want to clarify that I meant in previous instances (not that stream), he uses the excuse of performance for his massive array, so I was asking if someone is autistic enough to search for those videos/streams where he uses that excuse and then merge it with a clip of him saying that performance doesn't matter anymore.

I'm retarded and don't know how to write English, so I apologize if my post wasn't that clear.

I want to find who first said "games don't have to be fun" and beat them with the buckle end of my belt.
This is why I don't play modern video games. If I want a deeply emotional experience or something thought provoking, I read. Literature, in my opinion, is the best medium for invoking emotion because how you envision the character and the world they inhabit is largely personal and individualistic. For example, if a story mentions a farm, I'm imagining - even if subconsciously - the farms I grew up around. Emotion is easier to invoke because of the ability of the reader to project their own experiences on to the page. When it comes to video games, not only do you lose that projection but they're also usually written poorly. The people being hired by the devs aren't being hired for talent, they're hired for credentials and nepotism. Believe it or not, people who've never left their very small bubble in life and had to "learn" "creativity" at an art school aren't exactly the best at crafting stories for anyone but themselves.

When I play vidja, I want to press one button and immediately be dropping in to a quarter pipe to do a 720-Dickslapper-to-Kickflip combo. You know, FUN shit. And that's what games were when I was younger, but the medium has changed and I've ceased to engage with it. Emulation FTW.

Sure, he doesn't need to name who did exactly which step. That's not what I'm talking about. He also didn't do the two available write-ups by himself either, so the pattern still applies. He didn't write up anything himself mentioning other people, the only reason that's the case is because someone else wrote it with him. And even him posting that once doesn't change the 100+ other times he's brought it up framing himself as being the only one who did anything.

Do you get it now?

This same faggot has written NINE articles sucking off Mald since the 27th of June. I wonder what else they've written?
Oh, an article complaining about Fansly banning furries.

This person is absolutely Mald adjacent. They also bitch about runescape removing pride shit, barbie's(yes, the doll) proportions, and so on along with complaining about not being able to jerk off to video games.
Jason worked really, REALLY hard on those badge challenges.

DOES HE?...
A). Contact the company responsible for reimbursement?
B). File a claim with his insurance?
C). Repair the damage and move on with his life?
D). Go to Home Depot and buy a replacement?
E). Contact his lawyer and file a police report to get them arrested and/or fined under federal charges?

ANSWER: E

Jason files a police report!
(I/A)

Don't ask him if he's overreacting, Jason knows what he's talking about.
View attachment 7632656

And while he's completely convinced he could land people in jail for 3 years or get them a $250,000 fine, Jason WILL NOT back down. He's the victim here, and you'll hear from his lawyer!

This all sounds so familiar though. Where have I heard this before? Was it when Jason called the FBI to get someone arrested, and got a challenge coin for saving the day?
Such a pussy always snitching and banning and crying to authorities about people.

I had a couple of minutes to spare and watched JSON's stream for five minutes. Some observations:
  • He has a counter for bans (1300+)
  • He was copypasting something in a Minecraft config talking about how "gamedev is a lot of things and sometimes it's just about adding configs"
  • When someone mentioned Heartbound he switched with lightning-speed to some text file where he keeps the patchnotes. Incredibly defensive.
Despite so much of his "game development" being dedicated to configuring a Minecraft server, he has barely any Minecraft content. He'd probably get a little gamedev cred if he did actual mod development but something tells me that JSON considers that beneath him.

He keeps showing the Smart Fridge Video (it's unlisted for some reason), as an excuse to say "is performant enough"; I tried to check about the guy that made the video, but I didn't find anything good.

This is his twitter; he doesn't look like someone too invested in Jason's community, and probably is just ignoring the whole drama. But it would be HILARIOUS if he calls out Jason about his code or the Smart Fridge.

Should I archive that video? Probably already is archived, but I don't know if we care enough to archive it.
I love how the fridge video doesnt even show active gameplay, just the title screen and first screen

Its also pretty wierdly irrelevant? Sure its a flex, but is it even worth it with a game thats still like barely halfway done after 10+ years of dev time?

someone should port a gamemaker game that doesn't do jason's retarded way of programming and run that on a smart fridge to absolutely fuck with him and debunk his claims that without his dumb array magic shartbound wouldn't run on a fridge

I don't know how but I still had a subscription to his channel. He bought me with "Blizzard experience" blah blah blah... now I feel stupid.

EDIT: People! His chat rn is hilarious. I am too lazy for screencaps but he is getting MAULED :D

I unmuted it to see if Mald was talking and he was sitting there quietly typing the entire time I've had this up. He's more focused on banning people than streaming right now. :story:

Someone recommended Mald use a regex for some repetitive YAML modifications he's doing and he wanted to sound smart saying "Hmm yeah we could do that.. but we'd have to match this ending in 5..." and made some excuses as to why a regex would be too hard. It would be free content to set up a regex on stream and do speed up some of the editing... He is literally scrolling through and eyeballing everything, this is insane.

A chatter recommended he use a database instead of a YAML file and Mald has an excuse saying he doesn't want "the database to fall over." and how that happened before.... What? Mald is so reliably moronic, I'm convinced you can tune in at any point of any of his content and he's going to say something incredibly stupid.

Khronos is streaming as well and has "Unban Bingo" in the title. I don't see anything fun on his screen though regarding the unbans and am not going to suffer through these losers any more for today.

The Coding Jesus (the name is cringe I agree) channel is about teaching people to code. God forbid he uses an example of awful code as a lesson of what not to do. Also, Maldy's code is so unmaintainable that it's burdensome to work with which is probably one of the reasons he never fucking updates it. Every time he wants to add something he has a giant Gordian Knot he has to untangle first. So no, just compiling and "working" isn't good enough.

Isn't what Mald has what they call "spaghetti code"?

how is it a flex? it's not that hard to make a gamemaker game run on android. notice that theres no gameplay, because it's unplayable unless you attach a keyboard or controlller to your fridge.

The grifter has made a third video on Mald, but it's behind a paywall for now. This time there's a gamemaker developer as a guest, which is an interesting twist, but that could be a nobody.
Just watched it.

The interesting part is the first third. They focus on Jason's "special" lighting code and how inefficient it is. And its true.

But what makes it funny is that I'm sure someone here posted a clip where Jason specifically jerks himself off while claiming how great his "lighting system" is.

Or maybe its Mandela effect on my part...
