What are your thoughts on this reddit comic about a Sikhs who fought in WW1 managing to argue he is White/Caucasion to attain US citizenship?

The racial distinction between high- and low-caste Indians is more historical than anything, saying that you're a TRVE PVREBLQQD BHARATIYA ARYAN because you're a "Brahmin" doesn't hold water outside of Hindustan
Also even the Irish weren't considered "white" in the early 20th century, what makes you think that your brown ass would be?

The US handled correctly, he isn't white no matter how much he tries to twist and turn about it.
It's just jealousy and resentment all the way down.
Should the US have forbidden him from serving in the army or at least set up something similar to the French Foreign Legion?

Forbidden from service, the FFL automatically confers citizenship on completion of a tour of duty.
The US doesn't have enough sikhs to set up a gurkha regiment so it really does not matter.

I'm not going to go to reddit fuck tard.
You really think I'm gonna click on a reddit link?
The basic cliffnotes so you don't have to look at ugly reddit tier 'artwork'
- Stinky brown turban wearing Sikh wants to become a US citizen
- Joins American army to fight in WW1
- US passes 'naturalization act' allowing alien members of the military to become US citizens for serving
- Stinky brown turban man gets citizenship
- Citizenship revoked 4 days later because he was not classified as a "free white person" which is a requirement for the naturalization act
- Stinky brown turban man appeals
- Denied
- Takes it to supreme court
- Tries to claim he is actually a white boi because he's a "aryan indian" of high caste that should be regarded as white despite being visibly brown and stinky
- Claims a japaneese was given citizenship and so too should he
- Court tells brown stinky man the nip was living in 'merica for over 20 years and already assimilated well thus allowing him citizenship, while the brown stinky man is too brown and stinky to be given citizenship
- Court says he's not white and therefore doesn't qualify for citizenship
- Visibly brown and presumably still stinky turban man goes "nuh uh I'm still white on technicalities bro"
- Court says he may be technically caucasian if you do enough mental gymnastics but the court states he is still in fact both brown and stinky
- Many years later congress passes an act allowing brown and stinky foreigners to get US citizenship if they were part of the US army in WW1
- Brown stinky turban man now has citizenship

What thoughts are you looking for? He failed in his pursuit of getting recognized as a free white man, it took the abolishment of that requirement for him to achieve naturalization.

I'm obviously not the target audience for this thread but he deserved his citizenship. This guy is what all migrants should be.

Thank you for your thematic post. It's like I'm still on Reddit.

Anyway, my thoughts are that this comic is anti white propaganda using autistic early 20th century judges as "proof", and somehow the moral of the story is that we shouldn't have borders even though the entire reason Thind's story is compelling is because he was fully assimilated, which approximately zero percent of illegal immigrants are.

My personal opinion on his case is that he should have been granted citizenship, but only because he was assimilated. Only people willing to become Americans, not hyphenated Americans, should be allowed to live here.

I meant it for this part.
A lot of the users on this site are White nationalists or even further with racial science being one of the core parts of your ideology.
I'm a fucking mutt kike, what ya want me to do? And yes, this is edgy Reddit. You can't call people out for thirstposting anymore.

the supreme court made the right decision because brown people are not human and animals do not get to become citizens of the US

It's jealousy and resentment to think that you should be able to become a citizen of the country you legally reside in and served for? Are you fucking retarded?

It's about him being white, he was desperate to be seen as one of the "civilized" even though the sikhs are little better than the rest of the subcontinentals.

You lack reading comprehension
