The original WP actually had some real artistry behind it. The sketches were funny on the surface but they made you think about aspects of your reality you never considered. With everything thats happened in the past decade since 2015, youd think these guys would have something more profound to say than "look, its Sam dressed like that nigger from TV! Hur hur hur."
There's a chance they might but that video was primarily released to fight Bernstein's claim of hidden/censored swastikas on every interstitial.

Yah I think this is good, but you're right if they didn't take a year and a half or so to edit it together it would be hitting harder. In 2016 getting "Jews Rock" on TV was shocking and arguably the reaction to stuff like that in the show is probably what got it's plug pulled in the first place. Yah sure they're still pushing the envelope, and way harder than they ever could before, but the overton window's shifted so far that it barely even registers in comparison.
I really hope Rochefort doesn't run the "get frustrated and swear at the actors for being retarded" bit into the ground, but that's already been the punchline for least two sketches this season. He's funny enough to not have to flanderize himself.
The problem is he acts so damn cheesy and outlandish that the actors are then trying to do the same but he absolutely crucifies them immediately and makes it tense. Sam is much better at drawing out the funny of the situation with a stranger, Nick's methods when he's on his own are all fucked up he's just getting mad and causing tension with them over nothing.
I'm a huge fan and I respect what Sam has done. never cucked about anything, doubles down on his controversies and always wins against huge odds. Extreme Peace is a "fuck you," him remaining relevant in an industry that hates him is a "fuck you." A sold out uncancelable comedy tour is a "fuck you."
