Latest Syrian Civil War Update: The leader of the Druze has rejected Syrian leader Jolani's offer of a ceasefire. Jolani has vowed to retake Suwayda and the Druze have vowed to keep fighting. Meanwhile Netanyahu is pleading with Israeli Druze to stop entering Syria to aid their Druze brethren and to let the IDF do their thing. And Netanyahu has also said that the Syrian border will not be another Lebanon for the Israeli people.

That is by far the shittiest lion cut I have ever seen in my life, and I'm a cat lady who has seen some hasty, unskilled, and otherwise not-great ones, both on my own cats as well as rescues who come into a shelter badly matted.
Cats are not the easiest to groom. Specialist cat groomers are still rare here in the US, a lot of dog groomers don't know how to deal with cats, and obviously these two retards weren't going to find a cat groomer in Damascus. So I assume it was done by the equivalent of a vet tech, or even a kennel tech with no veterinary training, who was more concerned with getting the mats off the poor cat than aesthetics, and hasn't been asked to do a full lion cut very often.
Sometimes even a skilled groomer has to stop despite it being an ugly job because it's causing too much stress for the cat, and that's understandable. But this is just a shitty job. It's probably the best they can get, given where they are, though.
The one redeeming factor here is that Julia's no longer suffering from the constant pulling of all her mats, or enduring poop matted into the fur on her rear end, and she'll be free from that for the better part of a year until her fur gets long enough to start matting again.

And cats generally don't tend to "die of heartbreak" when separated from longtime owners, especially not if someone steps in right away to give them a home. I've adopted enough dead old ladies' ancient cats over the years to know. Yes, they can be depressed and withdrawn in a shelter setting, and it can hard adjusting to a new home because they're more cautious and take longer to adapt, but they can and will do so, given kindness, patience, and understanding. They still have lots of love to give, and if you give them a chance to do that, they make amazing companions for however long they have left. I don't expect BBJ to be any different, especially if she was being shown genuine love and care, and relieved of her pain, for the first time in years.
Clearly, you haven't been paying attention; that, or you just don't get what being a low-IQ psychopath entails. Chantal has no genuine love to give anyone or anything. Every relationship is transactional, and solely about what others can provide for her, and this extends to cats, too. The only reason she makes sure Julia gets any care at all is as a "fuck you" to FFG's constant referring to her as an animal abuser, with vet records to back it up.
Go post this shit in the replies of one of her Community posts, or in her chat during a livestream—you know, where she might actually see it.
