I'm still annoyed at the sudden 180 at releasing these documents, but anyone who seriously thinks that Trump is hiding it because he's a pedo is a fucking moron, full stop. There's nothing to remotely support that notion.

True, but it's hard to blame people for having their doubts. I mean, Trump was a businessman in 1970's New York; there's no way that his friends didn't get up to anything suspicious, and people have good reason to believe he has a personal stake in protecting people connected to Epstein, even if there's not much to suggest he's a nonce himself.

Obviously all the drumming about it now from journos is pure realpolitik, but it sure feels like Trump is deliberately playing coy to stir up the shitstorm.

I never thought I'd see the Democrats push for the Epstein files to be released either, and only pushing for it to be released specifically to defy Trump. After years, a decade almost, of the Democrats saying the Epstein shit was fake and gay, nothing going on here, it's just a right wing conspiracy theory. Now they believe the Epstein case is legit just to oppose Trump. I could easily see the Dems turning around on the vaccine issue as well, Trump's administration is still funding and pushing Moderna vaccines for some reason so they have plenty of ammunition to attack Trump for funding and approving a very dangerous company that's responsible for the deaths of thousands. It doesn't matter if the Dems also pushed Moderna and even wanted a mandate to only allow Moderna shots and ban J&J's safer alternative, as long as it's the opposite of what Trump's administration is doing it doesn't matter to them.

I’m a conspiracy guy, and like to think I generally read the room temperature alright, but genuinely I ain’t got no idea what’s up with the Epstein situation.
To me it feels like there’s something big we just don’t know anything about, and if we just wait and see how this runs it’s course things could get pretty interesting.
But I don’t believe it’s a party thing, every other ring I know of has been acting beyond the lines of political parties. That’s kind of how high levels of power work, really, but this is weird either way so let’s see how it goes.

The simplest explanation is that Trunp is obsessed with being liked. His supporters(rightfully) chimping out over his admins handling of the pedo files is getting to him. As for why he won't release them:
1) The files contain too many important names and he's afraid of personal connections that would blow up his own status quo along with tptb.
2) People in the files are threatening Trump and his family. A boomer family member of mine thinks the Clintons could be behind this, but it could be any group of the many with Epstein connections. If you're fucking kids, murder/torture is not off the table
3) The files don't exist or were deleted at some point. Feds don't want to admit they lost highly sensitive data, it would be a major blunder and expose their facade of all knowingness.
4) The "list" doesn't exist and the flightlog is the closest thing to it. Releasing the remaining info would make people as suspicious as not doing so. Trump's inner circle don't want to admit they hyped up a nothingburger.

I haven't heard any other viable theory that isn't Q tard level wish casting.
