Apparently the Air India crash was a suicide. In Indian societies, suicide brings huge dishonor to the family (ie. the housewives in the neighborhood will gossip about you) so they often try to make them look like accidents.
Senior pilot, Sumeet Sabharwal, age 56 was copiloting. Clive Kunder, age 32, was Flying Pilot that day.The switches were cut off one after another manually. Clive asked Sumeet, out of respect for seniority, “Why did you cut off (fuel switches)?” and Sumeet said, “I did not do that”. But of course, he did. An indicator of deception is when they say, “I did not do that”, instead of “I didn’t do it”. 6 secs before crashing, Sumeet radios in a Mayday call, “Mayday…, failure to achieve thrust, engines lost power”, not one mention of fuel switches being turned off, since he had turned them off. At this time, Capt. Kunder is trying to save the plane, and switches on fuel #1 & 2. Engine #1 reignites, but it’s too late to save the plane at 400 ft altitude (it had only climbed 600 ft before this happened). Air India allowed this pilot Sabharwal to fly even though he had mental health issues, was severely depressed after losing his mother, and possibly his best friend, had an ailing father of 90 yrs, was about to retire (or was he forced out?), and had just taken a leave of absence for his issues. He should have been in therapy. He had so much to live for, an apartment, his father, his long life in retirement. His poor father, now all alone. After that, to add insult to injury, Air India suppressed key information from the report such as which pilot said what. Sabharwal murders 300 innocent people because he is having a bad day.
