You're not understanding the point of my comment and you, more or less, agree with it anyways. I'm reacting primarily to the framing that I see many people giving it where they think you have Harland being his usual goofball self and mixing deadpan comedy with le quirky randomness and that Sam is some uptight weirdo who just couldn't keep up because he's not a real comedian or something.

After watching it, it's very clear to me that Harland is what could be charitably be called "trolling" him, but is really more like just trying his best to piss Sam off and thwart whatever he wanted to do with the interview (promote his show, give some amusing anecdotes, shoot the shit, etc.). Harland is essentially passive aggressive (even dropping the 'passive' like when suggesting he got raped) and purposely difficult the whole time.

So, I'm just pointing out the dynamic that I see Harland actually engaging in. Now, does that mean that Sam didn't deserve it? Up to you, I guess. I don't follow Sam enough to say, but as a neutral viewer, I didn't think it made for a good show. Do I think Sam came out on top? Absolutely not. I think he embarrassed himself - I already said that. So, I'm not sure where the disagreement, if any, even lies.

I think one of the little clues that I didn't hear anyone mention so far was the can of drink on the table at the start wrapped in blue tape.

Sam and the wigger crew have their own sort of energy drink thing they shill here and there. I'm guessing the podcast told them you can't market that here and Harland had his first clue just how much Sam Hyde wanted to sell his own shit through his show (perhaps unaware of how much Sam Hyde has been "cancelled" - who knows)

But yeah as "anti-commercial/establishment" as Sam Hyde may be it's hilarious he has more shit he's trying to hock than a rap artist.

Sam is a noted iPhone user so I highly doubt there is a so-called "hook" for a phone to ring off of. Sorry but I'm going to have to doubt Alex's gay little story here. Keep in mind Alex (((Shultz))) is on Sam's payroll and is literally paid to perform damage control. The snarky women and brown folk in the comment section here know a lot more about the situation than any one of Sam's associates would.

Yeah if Harland hates Sam's guts based on the way he acted on the podcast he must hate every single guest he asks to come on because he treated Sam no differently than any other guest who he has invited on the show. And like you said he trolled the absolute fuck out of Rogan for literally the entire episode start to finish even going so far as to tattoo bear claw marks on his chest before the show.

Considering that you're on here running defense for him over this along with a bunch of other people, you seem to care a lot.

It's interesting that your focus is the public perception of this rather than your opinion on what happened. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not concerned with amassing some social movement to get Sam Hyde's career taken away or whatever. I think he's a retard and I have enough to say about it to share my opinion on an internet forum. You guys seem really concerned about how this affects your gay little cause though. That's actually a lot of what I've seen people say about this on other sites. Some commenter on Harland's video said that he "loves Harland, but Sam is a soldier for the cause" which really stuck out to me as emblematic of what I find so annoying about everyone surrounding MDE.

Nothing important is being done by Sam, MDE, or you. Attaching yourself to the cause of some alternative comedy troop on the internet is pathetic. Pipe down.
