By the way, how's that Great War of Separation going? You know, the comic book in which Texas secedes from the U.S.. I think the story was a waste of potential. A good writer could've gotten at least 4 good issues out of it, or one GN.

How about Goodying, the "superhero" who charges neighborhoods for his services? Tone-deaf, with no chance for development without A) changing the concept or B) changing the economy in-universe. Tell me how this is Libertarianism, and not simply greed.

Rippaverse sells much better than any Kamala Khan comics, as she is a deeply unpopular engagement. The Rippaverse sales numbers should translate to engagement with the material. They aren't, because it's not about the stories, it's about politics.

The only people in this thread who fret over Eric's sucess or failure are rabid EVS fans that haven't missed a single Trashcast in their life. Most people who aren't interested in his content, just scroll on by. It's actually pretty normal---unless he's someone that "betrayed" you or someone you care about. Then the alogging sets in. Again, the people who feel betrayed by Eric are (most of the time) rabid EVS fans that haven't missed a Trashcast in their life.
This thread is mostly populated by people who were burned by Comicsgate, Richard Meyer, Ethan Van Sciver, or Warcampaign. Mostly.

Thus when someone rolls up claiming to be "le random rippa hater", it's hardly believable.

At this point they are so EASY to spot with all the crap they repeat the narratives they say and the gossip they spread, that I'm surprised they think people wouldn't see through it by now. They can't even accept the answers they're given or even SHOWN, and I stand by when I say it's pathetic. Me I HATE EVS, especially now. If that guy is looking for a post to hate and lie about Eric, he chose the wrong area.
 
You didn't notice I started ripping on ComicsGate first, because there isn't even any product. Except those cheap little Hot Wheels cars, and several versions of the same CyberFrog book.

Actually, I'm hoping Dixon writes more Rippaverse, he's great at world-building. Given the work he did co-creating the Batman universe of the 90s (serving as the model for TAS and especially the Arkham games), I would've given him an entire region. Like James Gunn was given outer space in the MCU.

Baron's Goodying title was surprisingly bad (I've loved his retro work with Steve Rude in the past), but I'm hoping that was an anomaly.

Is Nolan working on Rippaverse too? I liked his Joe Frankenstein, but that sold so poorly it supposedly cost the publisher money.

And I apologize for being too abrasive and hostile in the beginning, which prompted your reactions. I didn't like what I read of Rippaverse, that's all. I understand given all the Comicsgaters and lying and gay ops in the past, that you'd be more quick to anger when dealing with a smug little fag like me. :) I should've taken that into consideration.

In fact more people at this point already KNOW the products are not terrible and that stupid narrative is been done to death. So, Comicsgate. Dale Keown claims there's a Pitt omnibus on the way, and Mandy Summers is apparently involved. Which is weird, because I've yet to see her display anything besides her figure. Keown really proved lived down to the lazy, unreliable artist stereotype. He recently bragged about taking meetings with Hollywood executives, which is funny because I can't see them wanting Pitt - he's basically the Hulk, who is seen as the least commercially viable solo hero of the MCU.

Ancaps (and maybe Libertarians) don't believe in taxes so I guess the theory is in their utopia instead of paying tax that goes to all sort of services and government you may or may not use, you only pay for what you use when you need it like pay for the fire dept when your house is on fire.
