Well today we're doing something fun: I am streaming from VMWare on Arch, so all the technical issues of Arch with all the technical issues of Windows I've never done before. My main concern is that 1) the audio is fucking up every so often because it has to use the audio interface and I have to reset it, and 2) I am using CPU to encode the stream because I can't do GPU passthru.

I tried at the last second to boot directly into the VM as a host machine but it couldn't connect to the Internet at all. If this is a total disaster I will find a way to get that to work.

My main thing is I want to be able to stream from a secure, isolated device and if I have to boot into it directly it increases the likelihood I'll sign into more shit like password managers.

I just found a tiny mud splotch on my floor near the hallway bathroom that looks like the site logo before realizing it was also like a minute before stream and had a mild schizo moment.

The first portion of the show, including the racism bit, is exclusive to the ticketed studio audience. The public broadcast will begin shortly.

I don't wanna sound like a retard, but why don't you just buy a second machine that is solely for the purpose of being a Windows 10 streaming PC? As far as I can remember you have less tech issues on stream with Win10, and you can just have a web browser and a VPN and whatever else. Hell I'll mail one to you if that's what it takes.

Even just partitioning off like 200GB and dual-booting Windows 10 using GNU Grub seems preferable.

Most likely because streaming PCs need to be fairly powerful, and Null is too frugal to buy a second powerful computer. It should be mentioned that streaming from Linux is possible and there are streamers like Brodie Robertson that do this, so where there's a will there's a way.

I'd like to introduce a NON-chrome, NON-firefox browser, that runs on its own engine.
it IS gay as hell, and it the devs WILL make you suck the girlcock, because it's from GNOME (Redhat / IBM).
there's even one of those anime girls on their gitlab load screen.

Nobody has heard of this shit, and TBH, there's a reason for it.

it's not great. it's not fast. it has loads of display errors. retarded web developers will block access to your page because anything that's not chrome or firefox must be a web scraper.
it does however *sip* ram. just tiny lil slurps. very conservative, and good in that way.

So yeah, there are browsers that aren't firefox or chrome in disguise. They're gay. it's a bad ecosystem.
