I'll have to look it up but I remember one leftist that went on Tim Pool's show and they literally would have a cycle of discussion that went like this:

"Well that's just one example, it doesn't prove that it's widespread."
More examples.
"Sure you can find more if you go looking for them. Why are you obsessing over this topic? I think you're the one with the problem."

And eventually loop back around to the start. It was just that cycle above over and over and over for like an hour. (until at one point Tim made the guest so mad he hit the microphone)

Anyway, you watch some of that behavior and you start to understand why what you point out ends up resulting. "I have a guy that says X." "Well I have a guy that says Y." So now you're down to pretty much democratizing truth/facts as the only way to settle the debate.
