That could very well be, I am not as familiar with Nick as I am with Sam.

The main point is that Sam is so worked up about not being a cuckold sellout faggot, even if he doesn't realize it, that he couldn't allow himself to roll with Harland's punches and thus a violent tantrum ensued.

And honestly that is one of the things that has kept me from becoming a genuine fan of Sam. There have been times where he's put out stuff that made me want to get into his content more, but it's always undercut by this prevailing aura of playing mind games and not just being straightforward with people. Sometimes that's the point like when he was fucking with idubbbz, and it worked because originally idubbbz was trying to fuck with him and he let the audience in on what was going on. Other times it's like he expects the audience to just know what the bit is because the bit is ongoing and he doesn't have time to explain the bit. Another person who does that all the time is PodAwful Jesse. Its a format that's quintessentially hit or miss depending on whether you pick up on the bit first, and then if you like the bit second.

I agree with your post, but youre wrong about this last part. Nick was being sarcastic when he made that comment. Even if he might want mainstream success, in more traditional ways, he understands that million dollar extreme will never be a mainstream project. He is also saying that just because they had a questionable podcast appearance it doesn't mean that anything is "over."

The only person this will negatively affect is Sam himself, mostly through online ridicule. I believe the reason why it took him so long to release extreme peace was because he wanted to make sure Nick and Charles pockets were lined from the stand up tour and everything else they've done in between because he was worried this project wouldn't be successful and for all we know it hasn't been. Nick is set up with his streams, and is now scheduling his own personal live tour.

Nick can EASILY do his own thing, he's a very social guy, he's the one that got them the Adult Swim gig, so i can see him doing very well financially in showbiz without Sam. It just feels bittersweet, to be honest. Extreme Peace is this thing we all wanted for so long and, now that it's here, i think it would be better if it had never happened. Sam blew it, they had it back in 2016 and he blew it, you can't recreate the circunstances that made MDE successful (kind of) in the early to mid 2010's.

Sam's no longer interested in doing comedy for comedy's sake, he likes being a pundit, talking about the jews and saving the h'white race (despite having no children of his own).
Charles is kind of the odd one out, i don't know what he could do if they parted ways again. No one was watching his streams or The Palace, the MDE brand was sacrificed to make "Sam Hyde" the brand, so he can't even say that he was part of MDE because no one knows MDE anymore, people know "Sam Hyde".

Anyway, Sam's gonna try to put a clever spin on it, probably gonna say that he wasn't having it with Harland, he didn't want to be on the podcast of some "hollywood faggot", probably even show a document (written after the fact, obviously) to show that destroying Harland's set was premeditated etc.

When his business partner found out he canceled all the services paid for with fraud including his website and podcast. Mike lied to fans and claimed this was a “takeover” because all the comedians who knew what he did sided with his business partner instead of him, so for the 15 or so years since he’s blamed comedians for his own fault.

He basically lost all his friends and supporters and became a hermit since no one wants to work with him.

Well, I guess that would explain his whole shtick.

I don't know, I got more of a laugh out of Kill All the Gays (And The Faggots) than anything Sam has done.

His video on Joe Rogan meeting Harlan Williams also has value. It's a tidy little window into how people like Rogan are morphing into the new normal. Thank you for the shoutout, and while I do agree with the point you're making here, I have to confess I'm rooting for him on this front. Not just because he shits on people I dislike, but because
A: I think avoiding traditional media approval makes him funnier
B: I have yet to truly overcome my hatred of traditional media even though I'm well aware it stems from that same childish self destructive mentality I described in that post. I'm extremely butthurt over it.

What I watched these people (that is the ones who took control and the ones who bent the knee to keep their careers) pull over the past 20 years made me sick.
