Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

Yes because I'm sure people outside of Trump's base will care about this

This whole Epstein thing is just political theater. Once the tariffs' effects start materializing, and once the world starts forming economic partnerships like BRICS designed to bypass the USA, then the American economy will capsize and crash. THAT is when the average normie starts cursing out Trump.
And on top of that, all the government people, he's keep screwing over with these doge cuts.

People have long memories. And when prosperity, does not appear they will turn badly and it will be a very bad term for trump, which right now he's in the early stages of the GW Bush part two.

And here's how it's going to go the Epstein files will hurt him, then. The tariffs are going to hurt him worse. And by this time next year trump is going to be scrambling because he has failed to not only handle tariffs but also immigration. Because, you know, he would have signed an amnesty deal late in 2025 to calm down the business class, the manager class. And by the time the midterms happen, he will not just be impeached but his vice president will become the most cucked president in history.

As he will have no pull, no way to put forth any agenda, he will bow out. And yeah, try to run out presidency, but fail. And yeah, we are going to get Obama 2.0 in AOC and all of the A & N fools will scream and REE.

That is what's going to happen. As there's going to be a very powerful shift going on the pendulum is going the other way, and they don't want to admit it.

Its really easy to say that DRUMPF is finished, and obviously we were saying that in 2016-2020, and conservatives were saying that about Biden in 2021-2025 but does everybody here think this is damaging him or no? I anticipate that the Republican Party might get blown the fuck out in the midterms, especially now that we have so much time until then, with all this stuff happening, but at this point the public is very fickle and this shit might be forgotten by the time midterms roll around when the next show of bread & circuses rolls around.
This is pretty different from past issues Trump has needed to deal with.

The most vocal and insane of Trump's supporters went full in on Qanon stuff and figuring Trump would hunt down pedophiles with his elite squad of rescued mole children. They're like the loyal footsoldiers online helping to defend Trump no matter what issue has come up and Trump has basically told them they don't matter if they care about Epstein.

Trump has activated the patriots who are pissed now and their crazy is now directed at Trump who they have to wonder "the fuck is he hiding".

Other issues like the tariffs will slowly come down on everyone, but Trump will not have the same kind of defenders as he used to.

I don't know if you would trust "unsealed" docs from an administration that promised untampered footage of Epstein's cell, only to be proven that it was edited, but I personally won't

There's that, but there's also the fact they're only talking of releasing some transcripts. There's a fuck ton more of findings that are part of a 300+gb package of filings. So even if he released every bit of the transcripts there'd still be people questioning what else there is. The patriots want pedos outed and they will not be happy until the fabled client list is out there for them to peruse.

Yeah its possible that this will be forgotten.

However I think this term will be worse for Trump compared to his first term. Only because Trump's first term has people who weren't blindly sucking him off surrounding him, there was some benefit of the doubt for him as he is a newcomer, and her had a good economy to bounce off of.

Trump's second term is coming off a pretty mid president who is still recovering from COVID's effects on society, and Trump is surrounded only by dickriders based only on the merit of loyalty which allowed him to appoint washed up tv hosts and literal 22 year olds in positions of power because they were nice to him.

Like I said, it's going to be a repeat of what happened at the tail end of the Bush years. I remember those years with clarity. We went from "right-wing is the right choice" to "all forms of conservatism is wrongthink" in the span of half a decade. It happened between 2007-2012, and not long after that, the SJWs appeared. The pendulum swing is going to hurt MAGA so bad, they will lose all form of credibility and power, but they don't want to admit it, so they surround themselves in an echo chamber of how everything Trump does save for the Epstein shit is right. They'll have no idea how unpopular they are until it's too late, and by then, there will be nothing else they can do to save themselves.

As far as the Stephen King thing with The book version of it, I always thought because the kids went through such a traumatic event that was their way of " bonding" in a really fucked up way. I kind of get where King was coming from but it was still a very bad idea. Not that it's the only time he's had.... Proclivities show up in a title. Cell comes to mind.

The WSJ fell right into Trumps trap!!
The whole epstien files angle was a ploy to lure the MSM fake news into a lawsuit!
16d chess as usual Mr. PRESIDENT.
LIBERALS ARE SEETHING
Yeah because I'm sure making normies who are online think Trump is a pedophile is the winning chess move.

It's been odd seeing how blind people are to how the pendulum has been swinging back hard as it is.

Probably would be a more enjoyable position to many MAGA though since it's easier just to be the perpetual loser getting to criticize those in power than to actually try running things.

Trump's filing for his lawsuit against the WSJ is out and looks to basically be "you didn't prove I wrote that card". It's probably safe to assume the WSJ did run this story by their lawyers and made sure there was plenty evidence to back them up, so can imagine this ending up a self-own for Trump as a court ends up having to look at the evidence and decide he was buddy buddy with Epstein.

Trump filing suit against his most loyal news outlet is going to have interesting outcomes. I envision fascinating second- and third-order consequences coming out if NewsCorp and Murdoch choose to fight and don't settle. Just as a thread reminder - Tucker Carlson was fired over the Dominion settlement, 787 million dollars - 7% of what this lawsuit is asking for.
How will Fox News hosts cover Trump suing them? Positive coverage? Neutral? Negative? They know Trump's most fervent supporters almost exclusively watch Fox and OAN. Maybe Murdoch tells his companies not to cover it at all. But $10 billion is a value not to sneeze at. I will be paying very close attention to what Murdoch and Fox News does over the next week; I want to see how their coverage of Trump shifts (if at all) during their primetime opinion segments on Saturday.
