I'm a Kino Casino fag so I am new to in depth laughing at DSP though I always knew of him from my days as a /v/tard. Please forgive my ignorance. Has there been anyone besides PPP who has gotten as close to Phil and got into his good graces and directly manipulated him like that? From my perspective, all PPP and Warski had to do was pat him on the ass and gas him up, not even in a subtle way, and Phil was putty in their hands. Have any of his alogs tried that before? Surely the Casino wasn't the first two people to ever try just being nice to him in order to milk unique content out of him.

Back in 2015, BeAwesomeOne pretended to be a DSP fan and posted fanart on Phil's forum.

He waited until Phil used it in a bunch of streams, and then copyright claimed the videos. Phil freaked out and deleted a whole bunch of videos, which really hurt his ad revenue and place in the algorithm (back when that mattered).

Phil then threatened to dox BeAwesomeOne in retaliation.

But DSP never thought that BeAwesomeOne was a friend, just a dent. Keemstar has pretended to like DSP to manipulate him, but nothing like PPP's magnum opus.

Since we're reaching the one year anniversary of the Kino Casino arc and it's time for our obligatory day off debate, what were some of your favorite moments of this entire shitshow? I'm talking about minor things, not the KING SNAKE stream, the little events that stuck with you and everyone seems to have forgotten.

For me it has to be that moment where Phil was reacting to Kino Casino talking about Rich and then he moved his webcam to make it look like it was on the show. I still randomly think back of that moment and get that "aww" feeling of embarrassment in my gut, like when you watched a movie with your parents and then the characters started singing, that kind of "stop it!" feeling, you know the one.

It was such a small moment but it gave a deep insight into the pathetic state of Phil as a person. The thing is that if that was somebody else, I would have felt terrible, because that moment shows a deeply isolated person desperate for someone he can call a friend. Many of us thought of Phil as the loser kid who would do embarrassing things for the cool kids clique just so they could laugh at him and make him feel like he belonged, and moments like that truly showed just how lonely Phil is, but he's such a fucking asshole that all I feel is the embarrassment, because they did offer him an actual friendship he didn't deserve and all he did was piss on it, make excuses and then cry that people treated him unfairly, even though he downright said he only saw them as a way to benefit himself.

Only Phil can take a situation where they used him as his personal clown and somehow end up looking like a massive cunt who deserves to be mocked.

Dude wanted to fit in so fuckin' bad that you know he just started puttin anything behind him to resemble the other two.
He really wanted to be a permanent leech on their show.

The poker chip with RTU, that Phil still takes pride in to this day. It perfectly signifies what an asshole Phil is, and how he's incapable of any self-reflection.

It also kind of reinforces that mentally he really isn't anymore than just a child.

His self-isolation has stunted his mental growth completely, and it wasn't the greatest to begin with. The few friends he had, and Panda, eventually called it quits on him.
Instead of self-reflecting that maybe he was the problem and work on that he simply found a new roommate in Kat and continued to exist. Without any friends, co-workers and family to call him out on his behavior in real life, well, he simply gotten worse over the years.

The Kino Arc really revealed just how much of a leech he is.

From the exact copying of mannerisms and phrases, the similar background and even wanting “guests” on his show, he’s a fucking husk of a human.
He holds zero original thoughts and emotions, besides wanting everything for himself. All of his opinions are formed through twitter and whatever retard is in his orbit.

Holy fuck, I forgot how much that interview annoyed me. If there was ever a perfect example of Phil being an obstinate asshole for the sake of "saving face", this would be it. And Phil being his idiot self, completely missed on Asston and Warski almost pulling their hair out each time Phil tried to circle back in some lame excuse to to not ban Derich. How fucking idiotic can one manchild be?

PPP only managed to do what he did because he had all the right prerequisites.
To become "friend" with DSP you need:
1) To be more successful than him, so he can leech off subscribers, viewers and dents from you.
2) You need to constantly pamper him and tell him what he wants to hear, or eventually he will get tired of you and burn the bridge.
3) You need to be available for him 24/7 as an emotional tampon and also do his work for him free of charge.
4) He needs to have his ego stroked by you.

Number one is the reason why many detractors/alogs that try to troll him like PPP fail. If you are not more successful than him he will just ignore you, because he will see you as inferior to him.
It's only when you are a big shot that he will start with the "Yes, sir. You are totally right sir".

If you think about it there weren't many people who actually were able to talk to Phil on a level of friendship or partnership. John Rambo was probably the first, most likely also acting like a sort of conduit to others like Howard. Panda perhaps too though she also began to bite back later on. Only other person I can actually think of would be Brightsideviking who was a big Phil supporter back then and also argued with many detractors even going on the SoK podcast from time to time (including the infamous "no you dumb bitch it wasn't fraudulent!" soundbite). But after that he hasn'T really got anyone he can talk with. Probably the reason why he tried to latch himself on the Sidescrollers and now the Kino Casino. Though the Sidescrollers were probably way more open to him then Triple P (you know the drill). Imagine he had been more honest with Sidescrollers. He might have been a sometime guest or even do gaming streams with them. But as usual Phil fucked up. Rule number 1 in this slwo moving trainwreck: Phil's biggest detractor is Phil himself. Most detractors just highlight what he says and this mongoloid doesn't realize that he says his idiocies into the void that is the Internet and therefor stays there.

I don't recognize a single fucking thing these niggers talk about - do they seriously watch DSP streams or restream that shit? I get the prestreas but they do know that nobody watches the gameplay streams at all and that's not an exaggeration right?

Given the number of specific titles they have for DSP-like khantent I'm beginning to think DSP might just be telling the truth that these people literally only make khantent about DSP and would lose all their income if he went away? Or am I missing something here.

This whole bipolar Nintendo love/hate cycle of the past two days is insane. In chronological order:

• He was super hyped about the new DK game
• Stated multiple times during both streams he was liking the game
• <goal not hit on the 2nd DK stream>
• Blamed it on the audience not being "engaged"...
• Then stated "I like Nintendo! I've always like Nintendo! But part of my audience doesn't!"
• And now he's on this one-hour rant about Nintendo sucking, and him claiming they've lost their way

And only because he got $61 less than he wanted during a single stream... Absolutely mentally ill behavior.

Sadly I agree. Nintendo has fallen off quite a bit. Considering the last good console they actually had was the gamecube and in fact was the last console I ever bought from Nintendo. I thought the Wii wasn't bad but had so much shovelware that it's best games can be counted on 2 hands,maybe. And never been impressed with the switch or Wii u when I tried them. Now I'm just a Sony soy boy

If you were to go just off of favorites they seem to hop around every few months to different streamers/content while having a main focus on gaming. Pretty clear they know about DSP being shit but maybe they got pignotized or are just lonely/trying to create content or something.

Everything showing in that playlist goes fully against the Super Chat, and it doesn't make any sense whatsoever.

Too many parts of the KC arc I love to pick a favourite but a criminally underrated part is the Tolomeo interview.

- One of his first attempts at an interview, the manic, fake smiling and nodding are out of control.
- Tolomeo runs wild, agreeing with detractors, questioning why he was even invited and laughing at Philips gaming skills, to name a few things.
- The manic smiling and nodding ends.
- The next day or so later, without mentioning him by name, Phillip declares no more interview guests as he’s tired of them disrespecting the host.
- We later find out Phillip started the invite to Tolomeo ‘As you may have heard, I’m having a resurgence’.

Gold. All of it.

The flexing of "I have a resurgence" was probbaly one of my highlights considering how everyone was still shitting on Phil. Heck TBS basically invented "Phil in the wild yeah" segments and highlighted anyone with a least a bit of reach mentioning DSP in a negative or rather "established" way. It was basically all a figment in his gin riddled brain and he was on a high of monetary support (until the streak ended and he decided to roll everything into goals to ensure goal milestones are hit regularly) Might be the funniest outcome of the KC arc, he finally bend the knee to all by rolling nearly everything into the goals and now including "overnight khantribuitions" which I suspect happens more then we know of
