Tutanota is good but keep in mind that you have to log in once every six months or it gets deleted (if you're going to use the free plan); otherwise, hassle-free mail creation. Cockli recently removed its webmail and only works via mail client, so it may not be what you need right now. Disroot works well as long as you don't mind them being unabashed leftists; they might take a while to approve your account and you also have to write about why do you need to use their services, yadda yadda. No experience with lolcow mail. There's one last provider not mentioned in that post,
mailfence, relatively no-nonsense mail and also touting privacy, though I don't remember if they delete accounts after a period of inactivity; I made one address on there three years ago and it's still there.
