Piracy General

Speaking of AI, there used to be a Youtube channel by a guy named Benjamin Carper that had lots of full metal albums with removed vocals. It was impressive because those songs didn't sound a lot different than the originals. Here's the Github page for his project. He sounds like an expert and it's all way too advanced for me to understand. His channel got shoah'd, which was inevitable. I downloaded everything I was interested in before that happened.

Does anyone know layman-friendly software that can do this? From what I understand, it took him a lot of time to build his model (or whatever that's called), so I guess it'd have to do that as well.

Just try Demucs MVSep-MDX23
I'm not aware of an open source model that does better than it (please correct me if I'm wrong by now)

There's https://vocalremover.org that lets you screw with audio tracks (track splitting, vox removal, telling you the key and speed of the song, etc) if that helps

It's not really piracy since the model is available publicly at QWQ 32B or its GGUF form from their own release page. To run it, you use something like KoboldCPP on the GGUF file, there are others but KoboldCPP is easiest to get into since its almost just drag and drop (I'm assuming you use Windows). KoboldCPP then starts an internal web server and gives you a UI through a web browser. These models don't really "search" the internet, it just spits out whatever it was pretrained on based on the question "prompt" you put in.
It is possible to add backend tooling to allow it to search, but that's more of the function of how the program you are using processes the prompt for the model to handle the text.
I was in your same position, but turns out that my shitty laptop with integrated AMD graphics and 8GB of RAM can't handle anything without crashing. 16 GB RAM with at least 1GB of VRAM is needed to at least run LLMs locally, so be aware of that.
I know I've already said it, but I want to thank all of you again for this information. Reading some of the posts has fried my brain from a technical POV as downloading things from github confuses me (I am very retarded in some forms of newer UI's and internets, but capable enough from the olden days to understand specs, downloading and installing stuff), but I digress.

I've got a lot of stuff to dig into here. I do have an old PC with a gtx970 and 32gb of ram, so I may try and run it on there. I do have another PC which is more modern but I won't have access to it for a few months, because reasons. Hopefully I can cut my teeth on my ancient PC and be ready to go full throttle on my other PC, or take the plunge and invest in a monster modernised rig.

Oogabooga's GUI (yes, that's the name of the creator of the interface)
I see this man is a fan of one of the greatest dreamcast games.

On the musical front, are there any models that allow me to chop and change songs with artists? I want to hear Megadeth play Master of Puppets.

yup, you can change vocals.
you can even hear it fuck up what it was supposed to listen and spaz out due to that at 2:14 timestamp.
if you want to try your best to prevent that spazzing out you can do what @Mr. 0 to remove the vocals and go from there.

Possibly retarded, but I've been torrenting scene releases and gog files (a lot of them from IGGames and Dauphong) via 1337x and tpb for like ~8 years with vpn. Never trusted repackers like fitgirl etc. Have always downloaded from VIPs/trusteds and have ran routine malwarebytes scans with mostly no flags. One or two PUPs from certain games (RE4 for example) which upon further research still seemed safe.

Building a new pc now and rethinking a lot of security / opsec. For game cracks does this sound generally safe and are these uploaders generally safe? I've never seen reasons to worry that I've downloaded viruses or miners, but again, definitely possible I'm retarded.

I've pirated hundreds of games and the only time I had a problem was because I ignored a red flag associated with a sketchy Carmageddon Reincarnation release. It wasn't serious, though.

There's a few old Starforce protected games that are supposedly capable of wrecking your system. I can name two off the top of my head: Peter Jackson's King Kong and Ed, Edd And Eddy The Mis-adventures.

Are there any AI softwares that I can download and pirate/use infinitely without paying? I want to use AI but I don't want to pay for it until I get some use out of it and I can generate some dosh.
For image generation
go here Automatic1111 follow the installation instructions then check the optimization options to get the thing to run at a better performance. Now the only things you would need are data checkpoints and learning how to prompt well, for the check points there are plenty available on the web for free. CivitAI is an example of a website that hosts checkpoints they won't be exactly what you want but if you are willing to spend some time merging checkpoints you will get there eventually. Just be warned you will need a decent GPU to have this run well and a lot of RAM so 32GB or up

There are some things that I can't find on soulseek, private trackers are all extremely homosexual, and I'm sick of clicking random archive.org links and crossing my fingers, so does anyone know of any alternatives that I can try out?

Are there any private trackers that are not run by absolute faggots? I seed and have an interest in contributing, but one of the first ones I looked into demanded a webcam interview with no VPN. Like I just want my seed ratios to speak for themselves. Even if I have a small limit at first and have to build trust, I don't care. I just want to actually have privacy instead of trusting a bunch of troon feds to not have a melty and dox everyone involved.

Are you on torrentleach?

so readarr is shut down because their metadata provider shit the bed. is there any decent software that can check if you have all the books for an author and series and rename the files and organise them?

if it's not a steam.dll game then yeah being cautious is always the 1st step with piracy in mind but other than that goldberg has been a fucking blessing, with the remastered modern warfare multiplayer crack things look really good although some games are a bit gay on that regard, like conan exiles store shit or X4 "limited paintjob activations" is just one step shorter to being EVE like shit where it's always online even if you are trying to play singleplayer.
however CS.RIN has got most of it covered by bundling dlc's packages and telling you how to use it with CreamAPI, yes you can use cream on a regular goldberg if the game has retarded online-ish checks like the two ones i mentioned.

The only problem I (rarely) have with pirated releases is when it's hard to find updates after a while. You can't always find torrents of fully updated games. It's a minor issue, though.

barotrauma is one of such games, unless it's some really obscure game then buying + goldbergging is the way until you deem the game good enough to keep it in your library, else refund as the hours played on goldberg emu doesn't count towards steam ownership hours, don't do it too often and your steam account will be safe.
Not a real tracker if they're asking to do this.
this feels like some retarded wannabe blackmail tier shit, as far as i know a tracker can consider you to be a seeder if you have a large amount of shit seeded both in quantity and in total upload, also upload speed...
i could have uploaded petabytes of games but if my upload speed is 250kb/s i ain't going to get much attention from good trackers.
