Chairmen Chang introducing non race swapped hot white redhead Jean.
Am disappointed they didn't use her original vintage Phoenix look and went with the later Jim Lee uniform.
Vintage art and DeviantArt for Dark Phoenix just to avoid Greg Land's "art."

In the end I'll probably won't go to see Superman because the politics really poisoned the well, be they intentional or not.

I dunno, but we do have an xmen thread.

Superheroes intervening in real world based conflict was always disturbing. It reduces morality and complexity to the question of single individuals dictating world affairs by virtue of raw power.

At least in the MCU it started with a low power level so it wasn't that bad.

Not gonna sell it to you but I will say that after having had some time to sit and reflect on it, I do think I'm a little richer for having seen it. They explore some aspects of his psychology and values, probably accidentally, that made me look inward and examine some things about myself. Which is all I really ask of a hero story.

The political angle is vague enough that you can project whatever you want onto it. But I went in blind. I'd imagine if you've got Hasan Piker whispering in your ear you're going to interpret it a certain way.

But it does seem like this is shaping up to be another Daredevil S2 or True Detective S2, i.e. I like it and everyone else is wrong. Such is life.

I don't understand how they managed to make the new Fantastic 4 uniforms even worse looking than the spandex ones from the universally panned 2005 adaptation.

They sort of remind me of an even uglier version of the OSI trooper uniforms from The Venture Brothers.

I am digging these weird uniforms in the mobile Marvel Mystic Chink made game.

Wow, they added Franklin and Valeria as part of the story.

So on the comics side.

The Ultimates remake is going to tease if Doom Reed gets his team back.

Still trying to find clues since what is with the sandstorm and scorpion symbology.

And it seems like he isn't wearing his mask.

And they released the solicit way too early.

And now doing some sort of Endgame event as a parallel to the Ultimatum comic.

Despite numerous false starts, Mahershala Ali’s debut as a vampire slayer in “Blade” is still in the works, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige confirmed.
“We didn’t want to simply just put a leather outfit on him and have him start killing vampires. It had to be unique,” Feige explained. “It fell into the time when we started pulling back and saying, ‘Only accept insanely great.’ And it wasn’t ‘insanely great’ at the time.” He continued: “We didn’t feel like, as we often do, you can have a good script and make it a great script through production. We didn’t feel confident that we could do that on ‘Blade,’ and we didn’t want to do that to Mahershala and didn’t want to do that to us.”

Of fucking course you didn't want to do that, because then you'd be giving people what they want and expect out of a Blade film, instead of Nigger Lives Matter Struggle Sermon #24345655344532.
