The primary reason why there’s an “AI revolution” is to cut jobs. Full stop. CEOs fantasize they can say “give me this complex report” into a prompt and in five seconds they can have it. Then he can lay off all his analysts that cost the company $5 million per year. I told the story elsewhere that we were evaluating some legal AI software that claims to analyze everything, draft complex contracts, evaluate feedback on them, etc. We had some attorney vacancies we were trying to fill and the ceo of my company said “once we get this we’re going to have too many lawyers here.” A few thousand bucks for an enterprise license will have us about a million dollars in reduced headcount.
I don’t think anyone is ready to deal with the mass redundancies this “revolution” is going to bring. Naturally Trump wants to fund more of it because Silicon Valley has him by the balls.

Trump wants to exterminate the "less than rich" from the US. Deport the brown and black people, then take the jobs and healthcare away from the rest. Whatever benefits there are to be had by shooing away the dirt cheap brown labor from central and south America is going to be utterly obliterated when AI kicks into full gear in the next 2-5 years. We will get to the point as a country where the *true* unemployment rate will go straight through the roof as people who thought they had job security in their profession are logically tossed out in favor of bots that don't eat, sleep shit or complain about anything. This is the problem with Miggers hyper focusing on immigration - yes it's an issue but what about the DOZENS of other crises that are staring America down that could turn the country into even more of a living hell? America is facing a cost of living crisis, a mating & dating crisis, crises involving trade and tariffs and so much more. America is a country marked for death by these glaring issues bubbling beneath the surface but what is the proposed plan by Trump? Oh wait there is no plan, the plan is to act like the last few presidents we've had and pretend nothing is going oh and by the way if you complain you're carrying water for muh Democrats. America has been steadily declining for many reasons but now that the ball is firmly in Trump's court that is the kind of response you're going to get.
Not to mention that on day one Trump invited his hook nosed billionaire buddy Larry Ellison went on TV to shill a fucking AI Vaccine that is apparently going to attempt to cure cancer. I'm sure nothing could possibly go wrong when this power hungry kike tries to fuck with human MRNA/DNA in an attempt to play God. Even though this kind of "science" is something straight out of a post-apocalyptic horror film like 'I am Legend.' As if the rich and powerful have the right to tamper with these things which ought to be left alone in the first place. What are the chances that the orange vaccine shill will push this sketchy as fuck """cure""" for cancer only to wind up horribly disfiguring or killing millions of people? When AI ends up being a total nightmare scenario for the United States the people are going to wonder how things went so wrong. They'll wonder why is it that society becomes so dysfunctional when you take the people out of it while turning doctors, lawyers and more into unemployable persons that have to live on the streets like animals because they have been made obsolete. All the while people with the ability to critically think are screaming at the top of their lungs in a attempt to warn people of the coming catastrophe. God help us all.

Yeah, Trump loves niggers. The real victims of this upcoming AI revolution are white collar workers: analysts, engineers, programmers, etc. People will say that AI will fuck up and cause all kinds of issues for companies. Maybe they will but not before a big chunk of white collar labor gets sent packing. Going to be interesting to see how this is going to play out because we’ve already started to see AI-related layoffs start to trickle in.

It's already started. Microsoft, as I said, fired around 9000 workers recently, many of whom are related to digital productions like video games, now that they're focusing on AI development to pick up the slack. Things that usually take a lot of tech and education to make are now being taken over by AI. Jobs that would seem more secure than "bum who picks crops on the field" are getting wasted because Microsoft realized that AI can do their work for free.
And if a company as big and woke as Microsoft, who can afford to keep all these people, has begun firing and replacing them with bots, just imagine how smaller companies who give even less of a shit about the working man would react once big corpo realizes that bots can take over the jobs that they once paid people for.
They think that deporting enough brown people will magically turn America into a 1950s-style utopia, when in reality, that will just make your produce more expensive. Oh, farmer John now has to pay white people to farm his crops? He'll pass the buck onto the consumer, and a brand that once charged $1.50 for a bag of frozen vegetables will charge $3-5 for them. Ditto for everything else. Oh, and they will still fire people and replace them with bots. Hell, farmer John might replace his Latino farmhands with mechanized drones instead, operated by a few nerds, while the remaining white-collar workforce that used to work technical jobs get fired and replaced by AI. If you can make drones for killing, making drones for farming is also possible, and who's to say they can't make the factories automated as well?
Mating and dating is fine among the youth. It's affording homes that's a bitch for them, since in the cities, the boomers and the private equity firms are jacking up house prices. A single condo with more than one bedroom is worth half a million dollars. You have a lot of young people now who are ready to mate and make families; they lack the space to do so. And people on the countryside fare even worse, because even though they have the space, they don't have the money, since agrarian states relied on welfare money that the Trump administration cut down to size with DOGE.

People exaggerate what the chatbots can do. There's too many points where you need someone to use common sense to analyze things for AI to really replace people unless you want to end up like many lawyers already have where they submit some AI generated garbage in a filing only to get chastised by a judge for including references to rulings that don't exist.
I'm sure there's going to be a few years of managers imagining they can replace people, but it'll be about as effective as how HR departments software works currently that just uses word filters to toss a bunch of job applications/resumes in the virtual garbage while departments beg for more employees.
Even self driving cars have a number of issues, like not avoiding potholes, taking to the skies when a speed bump comes up, or having trouble paying attention to homeless people randomly walking into traffic. Sorta normal stuff people would pay attention to in order to avoid destroying their vehicles, which for some reason hasn't quite gotten worked out by companies like Tesla.
And if they can't even get a car to drive semi-normally when going under 30mph, it's probably going to be hard to get AI to reliably replace a lawyer or programmer.

And that is the reason for all the Trump worship. Despite all that he is, all that he's done, he's the closest thing the Right has to a winning ticket, so the Republican congressmen circle the wagons around him and defend him from any attack, even if it leads to their constituents hating them and costing them their seats. They don't realize that he's a boat anchor tied to their necks; when he finally goes down, his actions, and their defense of said actions, will cause them to fall with him.
The Right doesn't want to acknowledge how unpopular they are; by the time they realize it, it'll be too late, and they'll all be out of a job. Worse, the Left will probably want revenge, and a lot of pissed-off former Trump supporters who lost jobs, family, and livelihoods because of his actions will be more than happy to help the Left get that revenge, so a lot of these Trumpian congressmen might wind up getting the short end of the stick themselves, getting tried for "crimes against humanity", "violations of the Constitution", or something else the Left can drudge up.
Hell, they might even wind up in Alligator Alcatraz, if the incoming Leftist administration has a sense of humor.
