So many good moments from the Kino Casino saga, goddamn...
Like when density popped up in the news and Phil brought up some old beef he had with him. Phil hold grudges like a teenage girl
And of course his clapback was "I guess it was a buyer's market after all!" which made zero sense, but it was even better when he posted the same tweet expecting it to go "viral" like the ProJared one and the first response was "yeah we heard you the first time but it wasn't funny".
For me it was the TruthSeekers interview cause it had a different vibe than the SideScrollers interview cause they started off as cordial while Steve did not and it was an actual interrogation style interview rather. Granted I still liked the SideScrollers interview cause without it this Kino Arc would have never happened but their was a lot about the TruthSeekers interview that just hit differently
We also got the legendary 220 afterwards. Too bad the former cop or whatever went retarded on some tangent when he had Phil's ass on the circumstancial evidence cope. I remember that immediately afterwards Phil went "n-no t-the Casino d-didn't set me up!" and of course Ashton went all "Steve you are banned from the Casino!" because Phil went to cry to them immediately after. He was so in denial about them snaking him.
the whole thing feels like some sort of fever dream. I remember he tweeted at some random youtuber account telling them to make all of their videos premiers so they could collect superchats. something about giving unsolicited advice on extracting money from fans while at the height of an alleged resurgence just really made me laugh for some reason.
I only vaguely remember this because I think this is where we got the "I won't listen to criticism if it's said in a mean way" tweet. That brief period where Phil opened his replies but still was getting his ass handed to him was great since he was expecting everybody to just agree. And of course, the "uuuhh i ackshully never read replies" tweet followed by endless segments on stream about it.
This one's a bit of a brick joke but when Phail would first spend his nights watching the Lard and Tard Show, they would semi-often do Nerds on the Go segments which are these boring videos of this cringe married couple, PPP has said many times that they do those segments specifically to fuck with the audience as they're a slog to get through. What reoccuring Kino Casino segment did Phil name as his favorite when he was in their chat one time? Nerds on the Go. Then if you remember, after the snakening one of the times he ranted against them he specifically named Nerds on the Go as one of the segments that he hated.
He pulled some similar shit with Sidescrollers, first telling them he loved the show and had watched every episode, but as soon as they "betrayed" him suddenly he never saw their content and didn't know what it was, Gee Phil, I wonder why anybody would think you're a petty little bitch.
DSP getting sauced then cringe posting in Kino Casino's Kick Chat and giving them money.
Phil turning into Derich was revealing, and the definitive proof that if Phil hadn't been successful, he'd be just another dent.
Also, reminder that those ten subs is all Phil ever gave back to Kino Casino. After the thousands of subs Phil got because of them, they asked Phil to give 100 back and he only gave 10, arguing he was "tapped out".
Too many parts of the KC arc I love to pick a favourite but a criminally underrated part is the Tolomeo interview.
I also love how deluded he was with his guests. First there was the planned co-stream with Mutahar that got cancelled. Then his salty runback against Stuttering Craig before running to the biggest semen slurp "interview" with Keemstar. Then when he started to invite Max. Dood and Justin Wong only to get ignored and even went on to cry about how "I guess they're too important for me". It was funny how the interviews kept scaling down, from trying to get big names and getting ignored, to trying to get other lolcows like Boogie, Wings and RTU and still getting either ignored or not doing it, and finally running to random small streamers he kinda knew from years ago, and then getting dunked by them.
What I remember the most about the Tolomeo stream is that Phil legit said "let's talk about your history WITH ME". Yes, he invited someone to an interview, and the topic was himself, and of course the guy didn't buy his victim narrative.
One of my personal highlights of the kino arc was the 2nd stuttering craig interview. Total goldmine
Also Craig not putting up with his bullshit from the beginning was great. I remember how Phil was doing the usual glazing segment and in the middle of talking about how Craig is an internet legend who stuck with his ways and Craig cut him off with a "so what changed, Phil?" immediately referencing how fake Phil is after the year he spent talking shit about him. Also the "it doesn't matter if I lied, it's still an answer" and of course Craig telling Phil to go fuck himself, followed by Phil forcing Craig to invite him back on his show so he could give his genius comeback... only to cut himself mid-sentence ("I'm not interested, go f-") because he's that much of a pussy afraid of a response.
