His school campus in "Surrey Central" is actually in what used to be the infamous suburb of Whalley. The term "Whalley Burnouts" is still well remembered by long term Surrey residents.

The area is becoming gentrified with tons of new hi rise towers under construction, but it's still Whalley. There is a large homeless, drug addict and mental case population around though it's pushed into smaller and smaller ghettoes these days.

You don't have to look far to see a cluster of Whalley Burnouts near the campus, mall or SkyTrain station.

This may be a dumb question, but is "strata" just a Canadian term for apartment or condo building? I don't think I've ever heard of it before this thread.

It's basically the same thing as how Multi Unit Condo buildings work in the US. typically single multi story building with individual resident owned apartments governed by an HOA type Council or Board.

I'm not sure that would be sufficient given his past incidents in that building. The Strata Board can counter that he is a clear and unquestionable danger to the residents. he's assaulted elderly residents of the building and pulled fire alarms. Shrieking that "he is Mom's only caregiver" is unlikely to work. The other residents have an equal or greater right to personal safety within their residence.

And he's sure as shit not going to be able to make that case in 4 days. I'm equally sure he will however try it. But todays Police involvement tells us the Strata is watching and isn't preparred to bend. And they can afford a real lawyer. One who will hopefully be filing to extend any and all Restraining Orders keeping Yaniz from the premises, given his attempted move in. Ideally filing it first thing Monday Morning.

While I believe his ban at her place is over, it is still a 55+ community with limitations on pets. One dog (small dogs) per apartment, plus I think his Aunt is living in Miriam's apartment too. His foreclosure is set in 4 days so he must be in a panic right now. Things could get interesting this week.

What's odd with Yaniv is that he seemed to have an education in computer science and even supposedly some sort of job in it that brought income. You'd think he'd be able to get some low-level code monkey job at the very least since that's a field overflowing with sex pests. Yet he seemingly got addicted to winning and getting compensation for his suits and thought he could coast on that forever.
