Have you ever noticed how many people say butterflies fly in rooms after somebody has died, and from then after when they see a butterfly it’s the dead person saying hi?

I have never had a butterfly enter my house unless my cat killed it and dragged it in. Is this some shared delusion?

Anyway, my real question is after cremation how many ounces was there?

I think it's symbolism from fiction, and maybe psychology. I've seen the first part of that in a game that featured Jungian psychology as a main theme. It's in the bad ending of the first Persona game.

I believe in addition to the dopamine effects mentioned above, the body produces huge adrenaline rushes to try to give you the energy to go and get food. It is a noticeable rush, comparable to use of strong stimulants.

I couldn't find a reference confirming its an adrenaline rush so may be wrong, but its a definite rush. Completely unpredictable in when it will arise but provides a lot of motivation for the sick mind to continue anorexic behaviours.

Died with only five pages to her thread.

That's gotta be a new record here.

I expect there was a long and frank discussion concerning the (mis)use of the body she was given. Still, her race is run and all that's left is to move on.

If there are butterflies, they're there for the corpse. A lot of people don't know this, but certain species of butterflies will feed on corpses for whatever salt is left on their bodies, as well as other nutrients. Some even like shit. They like blood, too.

Butterflies will congregate towards rotting things, that's why they feature heavily for Elden Ring's Malenia and her Scarlet Rot curse. They are a lot like maggots in that they'll spent time sucking nutrients from fresh roadkill.

I'm honestly surprised she lived this long. It's probably another Rudine Howard situation where she (claimed at least) to not be able to gain weight even if she tried to.

Or she never bothered.

I forgot about them eating excrement and other detritus. Oops.
