They purchased early access and got early access. They didn’t pre-order a game.
That's not what early access means. But even if it was, Mald is the one who set the release schedules and repeatedly kept pushing them back, as well as lying about what was and what wasn't complete concerning the games development ("All the writing is finished" (a year later), "the coding is all done all that's left is the writing").

His broken promises and lies are the issue, not what someone's definition of early access is. Mald set the terms of the arrangement, he is under a social contract to fulfill those obligations, regardless of legal culpability or lack thereof.

If the ferret raping pedophile wanted to sell a tech demo, and have no obligation to release a full game, he should have specified as much on his kickstarter.

His only skill is constantly bringing up his time at Blizzard like it justifies his dogshit code and game (Bragging about a job he only got from his Dad) :story:

A year? some professional would do that in a month.
You don't understand it's not just code it's the dialogue there are like 2^259 routes through the game and so much dialogue to write for that like if you ask for no pickles on your sandwich in chapter 1 then in chapter 3 when you get attacked your friend's dialogue changes from "you're really in a pickle now" to "this sucks..." but if you got an extra large fry as well then those two lines are instead "you're in a BIG pickle now" and "this sucks bigtime..." it takes a real artisan to write these things and give real meaning to the player's actions

The Slop News Network saga continues.
i got a fucking bone to pick with this video, he really puts the slop in slop news and i feel like he lurks here and rips off points while doing no legwork ( briefly skimming wiki for definitions is gay ).
its not helping if the detractors are themselves larping as hard as the lolcow while not being thorough, i dont really care about your background as long as you're doing good research and double checking your claims or points.

refer to this: previous post covering what this sloppy retardtuber couldn't properly cover with good real examples but instead with borderline adhoc, boiled down garbage
didnt see it preservetubed, so just in case: https://preservetube.com/watch?v=dR2saTw4Htw

@ 6:15 - he cites the creator of 'Glider' wow bot, while saying cheat engine could never work in any mmo. meanwhile in the era of glider, you had cheat engine working to change your cast speed(haste), speedhacks etc all fucking worked(they dont work now, but my point is this guy is being verbose while saying nothing or at the worst, spreading falsehoods)

@ 5:02 - he contradicts his point about everything being serverside while giving examples of anticheat checking information sent to them. half of the anticheat in a online game is the fact that it's serverside, because you CANT MODIFY the fucking values hes describing, you're not telling the server you killed an npc or that you casted x or that you have gained over 9000 xp, youre asking the server if you can cast x and that you want to move to y and the server calculates how much xp you get if you kill a thing then sends that info to you as a display value, roughly all math is done serverside as well which is why raids and big battlegrounds(server instance/shard) lag like hell without you lagging whatsoever, it's why everything rubber bands, your casting, your movement, all the enemies on your screen... there's even a built in fucking lag compensator for your casts called spell queue window
my evidence for this is i've not seen any proper attempts in value manipulation lately, and all requests for similar features ( people offer thousands ) are swiftly met with how it's all impossible by highly renowned authors, and i bet you these guys dont give a shit if they sell a cheat that gets a person banned, the liability is always on the user no matter what, especially for one time commissions.
( another example: csgo uses serverside weapon spread seed values, a perfect jumping nospread/norecoil hack all the time doesnt exist anymore (theres recoil reduction/control but it mimicks player behavior), but client sided it'll assume where your shots are going for a fluid/low latency feel ).

@ 8:37 - polymorphism: he states "polymorphism" and "polymorphic code" are not only different but only used in viruses (then later describing how anticheat and antiviruses behave similarly LMAO), newsflash retard, cheat programs are written similarly to viruses and can be commonly detected as such and saying those 2 terms are different is like saying encryption is cryptography then that encrypted files are only found in viruses, im not defending mald's tweet but dude thats not why people attacked him for describing polymorphism.
adding random push/pops isn't what i'd think would be described as polymorphism, non fixed length aob scanning would still work, but why would sloptube mention this lmao
then slop attacked mald's use of the term code cave but bounces back and forth between what a code cave is and isnt...

tldr: slop talking about how it's only for viruses is insane, also he contradicts the point of polymorphism when talking about the assembly never changing.
tldr2: always 2nd guess slop news
if you want to read a little more on people reverse engineering and talking about the anticheat in wow in todays day in age : ownedcore(no login required) / warden anticheat

I'm not sure it counts as a scam if the scam consists of getting retards to donate by tricking them into thinking other people are donating.
if we're talking ethically a scam? yeah it's fucking insane, its a couple hundred off grand larceny as a robbery of public trust.
if we're talking legally? im not sure but, it's probably not as illegal since piratesoftware as a channel isn't a company or product held to the same standards as a company with stocks.
however piratesoftware is still a brand, i'd say (as a retarded layman) if a company went into an agreement/partnership/sponsorship with him and it failed, they could cite his hypetrain was one of the factors that lead to their interest, then say after the fact they found there was undisclosed sockpuppeting that misrepresented his brand and probably sue him. people have been destroyed by investors for less.

see: https://www.ftc.gov/legal-library/browse/cases-proceedings/182-3066-devumi-llc , fyre festival etc...

obviously him gifting his own subs or whatever isn't the same thing, hes disclosing it by his name appearing under who gifted what. it's the hiding it, the sockpuppeting, and the fraudulent deception akin to consumer protection violations.

I want to throw my autistic hat in the ring to give some explanation to his Encyclopedia Dramatica link that was found.
I'm not sure if anyone else here has elaborated on the old write-up saying that "Maldavius Figtree was part of something called the JLU or GLC in SecondLife."

I used to script on SecondLife back in the day and I know what these groups are from extended contact with them. To explain this I need to establish what a few SecondLife terms are.

Avatar - Your character. Think "The Sims" but instead of controlling a family from a gods-eye view, you have the one character that is MASSIVELY customizable. You control it in 3rd or 1st person.
Sim - a plot of 256m x 256m land that supports up to 25-40 Avatars. Its essentially the world instance you can turn into anything you want from beaches to cities to castles, forests, cyberpunk metropolis, etc. Each sim is paid for by the sim owner.
Public Sim - A "Sim" open to the public, Jannie'd by the "Sim" owner and their team.
Private Sim - A "Sim" that is not able to be accessed by the general public. Accessible to members of a specific group, or being on the access-list to enter.
Orbiters - Not the same as a social orbiter, an Orbiter in SecondLife is a tool you use to yeet someone into the stratosphere.
Griefing Tools - Weapons and items in SecondLife used to cause others harm from being annoying, to barraging them with sound, deforming their avatars, covering the sim in obnoxious effects, etc.
Sandbox - "Sim" owned by a creator that leaves it open to the public, usually keeps a small home or hangout for themselves or a store area, leaves the rest of the area open for people to build, script, work on their avatar, hang out. Think: Empty Garry's Mod map

SecondLife's land system and distribution is weird, there are a few main continents where you can wander from sim-to-sim like walking across states in a country, but then there are sims that are islands. Most sims are islands because most of SL looks like absolute shit connected on the mainland. Having a private sim made it so you didn't have clashing designs with other sims next to you, and it made it so you had more privacy.
Back in the day there were various SecondLife troll groups, with one of the most infamous being the Patriotic Nigras. What made them one of the most fun groups around is that they would let griefing tools out to the public for free, spreading the fun. Things like orbiters were easy to get through them. Their inventions were actually-funny and creative with some of their home-made stuff capable of crashing a sim to make it inaccessible until it was restarted, but this was rare as fuck.
In turn, the grid got chaotic, but fun because the Nigras were essentially bros that were not taking the shit seriously, with some of them genuinely loving the game for how crazy it was, essentially treating it like one big Garry's Mod instance.

However any time someone is having fun, there's always someone around the corner angrily clenching their micropenis at the injustice of it all; and that's how The Justice League Unlimited and Green Lantern Core/Corp groups were born. Literal intellectual-property name-stealing turbo-virgins that dressed their avatars up in Green Lantern costumes (There were also non capeshit fags called Gridwatch as well) and they would patrol the Secondlife grid at all hours of the day; teleporting into any public sim they could get into and monitor it for hours separately from SecondLife Management and the Sim's Jannies. They would enter the sim, fly up along the edge of the sim boundary and just float in the air; often not interacting with the place they invaded. And they'd just wait for people to do something worth reporting to SecondLife's management. Once they reported someone, they'd document it amongst their group in hopes of getting badges and promotions like a Boy/Girl Scout operation for insufferable adult internet faggots instead of children.
They were 100x worse than Reddit mods in terms of doing it all for free. Eventually people got sick of both Patriotic Nigras but also the GLC to the point they started privating their sims, making a lot of them group-access only to avoid getting griefed by the Nigras. At the same time, people who were having fun with the griefing tools that the Patriotic Nigras were sharing were getting tired of being reported by the GLC because they were literally tattling to the SecondLife admins about anything and everything in order to get promoted up the ranks of their little social group. They eventually pissed enough people off and faded into obscurity when nobody wanted anything to do with them anymore.
>You and a friend get a folder of gizmos from a random Patriotic Nigra on sim.
>Find handheld orb that can levitate person when you point it at them in folder.
>Having fun in a public sandbox with friend shooting eachother with floaty orbs?
>Wanted to see what it'd be like to try and levitate your friend while they levitate you?
>Minding your business?

>"Fuck you, I'm the GLC. You both are reported! I saw it! Griefers! Now I'm going back to GLC central to get asspats and badges for ruining your day under the guise of being the good guy!!"

They were very furry-adjacent, and I have an old, ancient beef with one of the GLC leaders because he's a registered pedophile in California and tried to groom my ex when we were very young by sharing nudes with her and trying to get her to join the GLC. We were like 15.
It is very telling that Jason Thor Hall was part of this group of wannabe do-gooders that had a bunch of degenerates in it. I am unsure the extent that Maldavius had with the groups, but his entire personality, his interests, and the fact that it was documented on Encyclopedia Dramatica line up immensely well. I wouldn't doubt he was part of the rank-and-file tattlers doing it for clout and hanging out at furry sandboxes or clubs trying to score morality points amongst the windowlickers.

God, this ugly freak wouldn't stop showing up in my algorithm.
Got over hearing about how powerful and all-knowing he is so actually got to searching about the plebian and after a long time has promoted me from lurker to full-fledged KF member. Does Fagtree have the most punchable face-ever or is it just me??
Would just like to point out, this was my first post on these forums back in January of this year, prior to Mana Gems, prior to SKG, prior to the artifically inflated subs.

I am licking my lips right now, knew something was off with this freak

Mald sending his fans to brigade a post calling him out for faking his hype train

His attack plan seems to be: Ignore the critisism and only listen to the soy-cuck yes men in his twitch chat.
