S.401 - Fair Access to Banking Act

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
This bill is insufficient to meaningfully help people like me. It is better than nothing, but it has no teeth.
nigger I LOVE you I really do and you are a PHENOMENAL writer but you need to learn to hit some mutherfucking bullet points for the morons

Whats Im replaying to should be the SECOND line after linking the bill

what should immediately follow is the bullets points you want us to email, call or show up to our local representative about and I promise we will, atleast I will.

DONT WRITE A GOOD FOURM POST write a mutherfucking call to action like a good civil activist does, you have the people they are just retarted and need handholding not preaching at

Once again I say this out of love and the willingness to help, give us the points to hit and put links for the lazy to LEARN who there fucking local reps are and the best way to contact them

You have the chance to influence real political change legally and morally

Is non-digital really that secure? Last time I checked, my old NES cartridge of Castlevania 2 can't run at all, and I think it could give people who touch it various cancers. Nothing really lasts forever, and the idea that my Amiga 2 would be appreciated and not used as some hipsters' fishbowl in the future is a lost cause, IMO.

I really like digital only for saving space and shit. I don't want a billion plastic boxes taking up shit everywhere - I just want the Stop Killing Games goal thing done so I have a end of life server warning or option for download or whatever.
I don't want to fill up the thread so my tl;dr is that digital is fine when physical is also available. I don't disagree with digital, but as you've mentioned SKG, game digital ownership is a dumpster fire like many other forms of ownership and needs to be addressed as it doesn't represent actually buying a product and being able to do whatever you want with it.

and you plan on using government systems, the same ones you claim to be doing the raping, against this threat? Do you realize why that wont make sense? They will just funnel you down dead ends just like they are doing to you over Rekieta..........
what are you suggesting he do? shoot up mastercard HQ?

Null needs to fedpost more tbh

Stopped reading where you called women who are against violent rape simulators "retarded holes" and so will every other woman, fyi. Good luck trying to mobilize the incel crowd I guess.
this is something that would be better said privately instead of posting it in this thread deliberately to derail it with gendersperging

yes it is in tos you cannot pass the fee onto the customer.
Which is ironic, because when I set up a Chase business account, the banker, or whatever they call themselves, helping me set it up basically told me to just pass the fee onto my customers.
They lean very heavily into the "just charge the customer, but don't tell them" aspect of it, though they often forget the "don't tell them" part and it gets people in trouble.

To me, owning the disc is basically a last ditch contingency measure for when companies make it difficult to access a game that also happens to be difficult to emulate. Ninja Gaiden Black for Xbox still isn't stable or fully playable on any Xbox emulator for PC iirc so I've had to keep my copy of the game around incase I wanna play the definitive version of NG1, since Team Ninja/Koei Tecmo refuse to port it to PC.

It sucks because you're right, there will inevitably come a time when my shitty ass ancient Xbox One dies on me and it still might not even be on PC by then.

>$2.9 + 25c + monthly fee
?

I'm not sure why the charge a monthly fee of $10 for the e-commerce side, but checking a different bank, Bank of America, they seem to have similar pricing but no fee.

Though Chase Bank does specifically state in their documentation that high volume businesses can negotiate rates, including small businesses:

I'm not sure that's true, it might be true for a specific instance, but Citi Banks documentation states it's allowed (based on Texas documentation):

Yeah, I'm inclined to agree. I just don't see how it could happen unless a wedge was somehow driven between the companies and the government. Maybe if Visa was goaded into overplaying their hand and pissing off a sizable chunk of the electorate, then there might be some will in Congress to do something about it. Perhaps over something like restricting firearm purchases.

But the payment processors haven't maintained their position by being stupid. I don't think they're run by the kind of person who is willing to risk breaking the infinite money spigot by rocking the boat too much.

fuck that, NO

I want him to Licolnpost or Teddypost

Im not talking about ANYTHING other than legal and passionate civil action. emaling and calling local representatives with passiona nd real issues THIS IS YOUR AMERICAN RIGHT its usless by itself but as a group can create a wave that sweeps down even the mightiness ramparts of tyranny.

You know what keeps the powers that be up at night? the fuckers that dont take the path that "feels good" and knuckle down in a broken a fucked system, scratch and claw and pray for a postition of "fuck you" (payed off house and reliable overseas shitbox) to then start learning how democracy works like a gosh dang scholar and working with other likeminded people to start petitioning those same elected people to represent their own interests instead of the things the television says is important.

you are such a stupid nigger that your post shouldn't even warrant a response. WHY THE FUCK SHOULD THEY EVEN BE ALLOWED TO COLLECT IT IN THE FIRST PLACE. TELL ME ONE (1) SYSTEM OF CURRENCY WHERE SOME RANDOM THIRD PARTY GOT A 2.7% CUT PRIOR TO THE YEAR 2000. IT DOESN'T EXIST. NIGGER CATTLE SOMEHOW FORGOT THAT THE CREDIT CARD WASN'T THE DEFAULT SYSTEM OF PAYMENT UP UNTIL THE PAST 20 YEARS. WHAT SORT OF FUCKING CONTRARIAN RETARD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO DEFEND CHASE BANK OF ALL FUCKING PLACES YOU STUPID CUNT

God it must be so frustrating penning a whole article about a very serious problem and breaking it down point-by-point just to have it immediately rendered moot by a Crystal Cafe-tier spaz.

I WANT NULL TO KNOW I REALLY LIKED THE ARTICLE. IT WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. I didn't realize just how toothless the bill was, my bad for being complacent and optimistic. I just assumed it would be decently drafted but get killed before it hits the floor by the lobbies.

Just like when he said to start writing representatives about preemptively denying refugee claims from India and Pakistan I've written my M.P. encouraging the drafting of a similar act here with the listed problems solved. It doesn't mean much but I'm happy to quixotically scream into the void. You, yes YOU should do so too. If my lazy ass can spend 20 minutes slamming a nastygram into a word doc so can you.
