About the Nazis, this is what I find funny: So far pretty much all the antifas have been white; white college kids specifically. The whole thing is white-on-white violence; I kinda suspect the guys throwing the Roman salutes might be a bit more circumspect in the middle of, say, Detroit as opposed to surrounded by skinny, pampered white children. It's been a pretty weird race war so far, with apparently more teamkilling than not, but if their "racial brethren" are the only people they've been able to curbstomp I wouldn't put my money on these guys actually managing to make their Turner Diary dreams come true.

Historically speaking most neo-nazi assaults in America after the civil rights era have been against 'race traitors'. Nothing makes radicals madder than when the people they feel should be on their side openly disagree with them.

Yeah. At the start there was some cops, but when the antifa tore down the plastic nets and started chucking fireworks the cops disappeared. When I watched the stream there was maybe one or two cops sort of sitting on the outside of the mosh pit monitoring things. Some people that got outside of the crowd or tried to go back to the park while dressed in their football helmet/stick/broken bottle get ups were swooped up and arrested by police still at the park, which is what happened to stick-man.

The riot police themselves didn't show up until about two hours after the fighting started. It took them about an hour to mobilize and they showed up on the scene after the Trump supporters had chased the antifa people to another block. After that they started cracking down hard and were arresting people trying to sneak away from the scene while hiding their masks, mace/sticks and shit under their jackets.

Bear in mind that Antifa is there to stir controversy and intimidate. For all their bluster, their side has no intention of committing murder or terrorism. There's a reason for it, too:

For now, they can duck behind the "bombastic protest" angle, like Chris, and grandstand how they're warriors of justice fighting them evil fascists. The nanosecond they murder someone, that shit ends. There can be no Law Enforcement standing by and ignoring the Autism in the hopes it blows over; they have to intervene if someone dies. It will lead to a crackdown on the likes of Antifa specifically, and it will lead to the group's ultimate destruction, so rest assured, they'll avoid causing permanent damage at all costs.

You don't need huge qualities to make dinky little bin bombs and you absolutely don't need very pure regeants, people can and have made anfo by complete accident.

They keep getting glossed over because of how useless and ineffectual they actually are at what they're trying to do. Dynastia mentioned a bit ago how surprisingly easy it is to accidentally die just from falling over, and it's the truth. That's why so many old people end up punching their clock just from slipping and falling in the shower. People are weirdly durable in some ways, and surprisingly fragile in others

Antifa is going out with the express intention of committing large-scale violence against an opposing political viewpoint, and they're so convinced of their own moral superiority that they officially have no objection to injuring their opponents, and the only people getting hurt are still them. It would be hilarious how useless they are, except sooner or later one of these assholes is going to pepper spray someone who's going to fall and catch their temple on a rock at just the right angle. Then they're going to immediately realize how polite and gentle this 'fascist' regime was actually being with them, because the hammer will start coming down hard.

If this goes on, I think a fatality is inevitable.

I know some BLM/Antifa types, and they certainly don't seem discouraged or even aware of a backlash; if anything, they believe they're winning a string of glorious victories. Mind you, none of them are actually out on the barricades getting their teeth knocked in, but with everyone who's genuinely discouraged by the violence and drops out, there'll be plenty of glory-hungry keyboard warriors to take their place. And that means that sooner or later, somebody will be seriously hurt, perhaps even killed in one of those weird accidental slips.

And then whichever side loses one of their own will have a martyr. The hammer will come down from the feds, but the Martyr of the Riots will live on, and may even spawn their own postmortem cult of personality. Think of Trayvon. That could very well be the catalyst for further craziness.

I don't know if this is the best timeline, but for longtime lolcow watchers, it's surely one of the most fruitful.

JoeySalads is one of those trash 'prank in the hood (social experiment)' channels but he has 1.5mil subscribers.
I would be worried about Joey's video too, it's some good footage of the Berkeley events.

Great stuff like antifa starting fights and spraying people with fire extinguishers and burning flags. Even calls out to cops to arrest anybody they can identify in the video.
