Furry Fandom and Drama General

Oddly enough, I had to be taught that cub porn was worse and more degenerate than average furry art. I never understood why porn of cartoon animal kids was somehow more vile than two grown ass dog-men in diapers sucking off some other dog dude through a gas station restroom's glory hole. It's not like there are anthro animal children being exploited. At least I hope not.

Some furries have committed child molestation. If they just wore diapers and shat themselves instead they wouldn't be abusing anyone.

More Furry News about RMFC, this time from Rolling Stone magazine. Don't think the article has been posted here yet.

I swear, maybe I'd take this article seriously if the word "Nazi" hadn't been used to the point that it basically has no meaning.

I also find it interesting that they shrug the cuck who basically started it all (Deo) to the side in favor of painting people who say that they'll defend themselves if they're attacked. It's just so baffling to me that shit has gotten so intense that now we have threats of violence over political ideology at an event that's centered around something completely unrelated. Aren't pastimes and fandoms supposed to distract us from stuff like that so that we can enjoy ourselves? Apparently it's too much to ask that people put differences aside to enjoy something, regardless of what that something is. I swear, you can't just enjoy life anymore because of shit like this.

This is exactly why politics have no place in the furry fandom.

It will be seen that, as used, the word ‘Fascism’ is almost entirely meaningless. In conversation, of course, it is used even more wildly than in print. I have heard it applied to farmers, shopkeepers, Social Credit, corporal punishment, fox-hunting, bull-fighting, the 1922 Committee, the 1941 Committee, Kipling, Gandhi, Chiang Kai-Shek, homosexuality, Priestley's broadcasts, Youth Hostels, astrology, women, dogs and I do not know what else.

They talk about it as if the fandom imploding is an issue that needs to be stopped.
My guess is that it'll just sort of kill itself off and start over. That is, if it ever gets to that point. An idea doesn't really die, it just sort of gains and loses followers over time. It's not like we're talking about the fandom about a series that ended a decade ago that will occasionally get the odd reference. The furry fandom is odd in that it's centered around an idea instead of a specific piece of media. In that case, it's not one that will simply die out. It'll just wipe the slate clean every once in a while when this sort of thing happens. I might be wrong. Who knows. Only time will tell.

Like a majestic, autistic phoenix it will rise again from its ashes. I don't think the fandom will die out either, just become more splintered and polarized over the next few years.

You know, Lone Digger by Caravan Palace is a good song. I know YouTube was never a bastion of intellectualism, but it kinda sucks they're shitting up the comment section of a good song (and a creative and unique music video) over chimping out over what constitutes a furry or not.

Not even auto tune can salvage his trying to be girl voice...

I made it to about 0:25 on the time stamp of each of these if you can beat my time you can gloat and I'll even send you my address and a paid ticket to my house so you can point and laugh at me.
I somehow survived the entirety of this unholy trinity. I didn't think it was possible to make Kesha sound worse.

The middle one is also really bad. It's so repetitive, and just... ugh...

What do I win?
