Ion Fury exists. Pretty good game.I'd play Duke Nukem chick
Most multi platform PS2 games look blurry. At least the GameCube had some anti aliasing.Probably not unpopular: The image quality of most PS2 games is absolute ass. Dreamcast, Gamecube, and Xbox games all look better. I've been playing Gran Turismo 4, and the lack of trilinear filtering or anti-aliasing combines with a heavy amount of dithering to just make it look like

This reminded me of my unpopular opinion. While Xbox technically had the best graphics, I always felt like Gamecube and their ambient effects (like water and some particles) made games that were specifically made for the Gamecube look the best for that gen.Probably not unpopular: The image quality of most PS2 games is absolute ass. Yes sure thing, every little detail in any given piece of media that doesn't immediately validate your porn-fried brain is part of some nebulous cabal hell-bent on ruining everything you hold dear. How about you stop getting your opinions from the shittiest recesses of the internet and actually try enjoying something for a change you sullen doomer fuck? Fucking seriously can you assholes comment on anything without using the same six or so buzzwords? Literal npc behavior.Donkey Kong Bananza making Pauline a kid when DK's an adult is awful. Go on, yell about how bing bing wahoo lore should not matter all you want. It's a bad omen of dumbed down consoomerist slop that even the most basic timeline internal logic is not allowed anymore.
*raughs in Miyamoto*Go on, yell about how bing bing wahoo lore should not matter all you want.
To think that Christopher Judge went from this to SG1 to Kratos...
I'm still waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to be playable, but every time I check the Steam forums, I see multiple threads about game breaking bugs. The game came out in NovemberIf you buy a game at, or near, release, you have no right to bitch about it being a broken mess; also you're likely retarded. Developers finishing their games via day one/week one patches has been an on going issue for nearly the last decade, if you haven't figured this out by now you're just straight up stupid. This will continue to be an ongoing issue until the unwashed hordes can comprehend this; yes, developers should release finished products, but evidently they don't feel its necessary, and consumers affirm this belief by continuing to preorder games/buy them soon after release.
I've been getting back into games over the last 2 months, and I figured I should inform myself, to some degree, about the current state of gaming discourse. Now perhaps I've made a mistake, because I've chosen reddit to do so(I don't like youtube anymore, and podcasts are something I have to be in the mood for).
I suppose I simply thought that, even though I tend to have odd opinions, my takes on games wouldn't be unpopular even on reddit. Yet what I've found is that nearly all of my takes are unpopular; most of my comments are deeply down dooted. I don't really care about the down doots, but they do have me wondering if I'm experiencing entirely different games.
Is this something other people have experienced talking about games on reddit? Am I just a weirdo that has very odd takes?
We need to start hanging game devs by their toes for this shit tbh. I know I come off as dismissive of peoples complaints in the orginal post, but that's only because its such a frequent occurence; common game breaking bugs months after release is unacceptable.I'm still waiting for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 to be playable, but every time I check the Steam forums, I see multiple threads about game breaking bugs. Buying a game at the moment of release is dumb. It's way easier to just preorder. If you buy a game at, or near, release, you have no right to bitch about it being a broken mess; also you're likely retarded
you didnt put the name of a video game on grandpa's grave so you could be maybe guaranteed a copy when it releases?Buying a game at the moment of release is dumb. It's way easier to just preorder.
Well, obviously. What if they run out of copies?Buying a game at the moment of release is dumb. It's way easier to just preorder.
A frequent issue on steam these daysWell, obviously. What if they run out of copies?
Games being broken at release isn't acceptable either. If they're charging full price for a product it should work. The only reason you're saying otherwise is because the problem of games being broken on release is so prevalent that you've written off them ever being able to get their shit together and so associate the annoyance of still hearing about it with the people complaining over the broken games themselves. We need to start hanging game devs by their toes for this shit tbh.
