Released in a time where most AA-AAA games feature Debra Wilson or other gender queer lesbians as main protag. Though personally I do hate those South Korean barbie doll faces too. They unironically have less personality than whatever the West is shitting out as protag with their newest Fable or Star Wars games.

Nice outfits though.

Well, Push Square took advantage of a recent conversation with Kim Hyung Tae, CEO of SHIFT UP and director of the title, to ask about it, and it was confirmed that Eve does not have a facial model, but rather an original face created by the studio's artists.

"We thought her body shape [of Shin Jae-eun] would be a good reference for the character we wanted. But the face was created internally originally: it's just the model's body that we scanned for the game," revealed Hyung Tae.

Instead, you use indicators like microtransactions, pre-order gear bonuses, kernel-level anticheats, negros in inappropriate settings, accurate face scans of men but wildly uglified face scans of women, etc.pp.

I don't understand why people hate Diablo II's Act 3 so much. Personally, I rather do that 1,000 times before doing Maggot Lair one more time.
I was always under the impression act 2 was the worst. The lairs fucking sucked dick, the "find the real dungeon" shit is just annoying, especially if you play online thus it changes every lobby, and Durial is waaaaaaay too fucking strong for the 2nd major boss of the game. God help you if you're soloing his ass for the first time as anything but an Ice Sorc, and he can still easily oneshot those if he catches them in his way too damn tiny arena. Mummies also suck shit. Any video game enemy that does that "lingering poison cloud" shit after killing it just serves to waste your time as a punishment for killing something in a video game about killing shit.

Back to the lairs, how anyone can remember those fondly, I genuine cannot comprehend. Poison clouds out the ass and spread lightning fucking everywhere because of the Lightning Beetles, in very tight spaces with almost zero room to dodge, and its the exact same nonsensical bullshit on every difficulty. You don't even get a reprieve from it on normal like most of the bullshit random elements that come into play in Nightmare and Hell difficulty. Truly an awful set of dungeons.

This is my problem with the discourse. Glossy plastic oriental insects are the opposite end of the ugly spectrum. But you can't point that out without victim complex sub-humans screeching SO YOU MUST WANT DA UGLY BROWN TROONS in a desperate bid to paint every slightly dissenting opinion as DA UDDER SIDE OPWESSING ME!!, ironically acting just like cultural Marxists.

I don't like having designated drift buttons in racing games. Of course, logically, that's the handbrake to powerslide during turns. But, some racing games with drift mechanics slide you TOO far or have you "on a rail" in a sense. Need for Speed: Rivals and Midnight Club: Los Angeles for instant, have an handbrake button to have the car "drift." Rivals slides the car WILDLY on whichever direction; Los Angeles is inconsistent with the direction of your drift.

Or, maybe that's a skill issue.

if they limit your movement yes.
risk of rain did that pretty well by not limiting you to a confined space after you killed a mushrum and they were always a risk for any melee character.
then they forgot about the poison cloud after a few patches and still haven't brought it back even with the demake because MPfags that have been ruining the game since artifacts were added to the OG not to mention hotpoo being retarded and forgetting to fix that bug eons ago, it's probably why the demake doesn't have it because the fags running it think it's intentional.
That may be true, but I still love the game even with all it's flaws.
we all have a shitty game that we like, for me it's happy wheels.
