That is HILARIOUS. VScamYou feels like it's ran by retarded pajeets. Just how dumb is Kson really for falling for the exact same predatory type of company twice lol.

WE OPERATE ON TRUST SAAR

Likely a different contract & approach from when she first joined. Kson herself has already explained away that the problems only really began (for her) in last September. Kson had been part of VshojoJP since 2022 and it's likely that it wasnt nearly as bad back then in her experience. Nyanners mentioned that Vshojo would also isolate talents & guilt trip people, and threaten legal action against talents if they even spoke up about those problems. Nyanners herself had problems begin in 2021 (unsure as to when exactly) all the way down to when she left.

It would not be far fetched that Kson had a sweeter deal & probably a significantly better experience given VshojoJP was separated from the main branch only as far as managers went. (The CEO aka Branch manager is a bitch though). Nevermind that she also had long term contracts with Sponsors and if she were to leave sooner, then it would not just open herself up to potential legal issues, but would fuck up her good will with other sponsors. Think about it, you are a Japanese company and you get some Vtuber you are sponsoring. Then she quits midway and doesnt fulfill her obligations. Would you try to sponsor her again? No. And given you are a sponsor? You talk to other companies who will now be hesitant at best to even sponsor the person who just fucked you.

She got suspended from streaming because of it. I don't think it's because of sympathy for trannies but Silver getting dogpiled was a bad look for the company and the rest of the girls.

How I imagine it went:

"Oi. You, white woman. You fucked us up Silver. Why did you even think about playing that game while people were getting extra angry? This made us look bad and makes the other girls look bad. Shame on you saar."

Pretty much.

No idea how to archive an ongoing stream, and I'm not going to make a clip that can be traced back to me, but I've linked to the start of the Hogwarts talk.

Is he a tranny apologist or something?
Someone has to grab a clip when this stream is done, but the short and sweet of the hogwarts shit is this: Gunrun called Silvervale a "Damage to the brand", a disappointment, said the harassment was "inconvenient" for the other talents and that she shouldn't (or wasn't allowed to) talk to them. A direct quote she says is "Optics are move important than their own talent's wellbeing." She was then suspended from streaming, though they didn't call it one because they "weren't that type of agency".
She had also been dealing with the same payment issues as everyone else, but still looked up to Gunrun until then. Silver went behind Gunrun's back and told a few other talents, who sided with her, but clearly didn't care enough to actually do anything regarding it.

Clipped version of the stream, I haven't watched this but it probably includes the Hogwarts debacle.

So a few of the girls knew about the payment issues as far back as 2023, but no one came forward with it until it affected their bottom line?

Trust is a hell of a thing. I think it's totally possible a lot of them thought "oh it's just a temporary issue, it'll be fixed." and never realized just how widespread it was. Vshojo clearly held some control over how the girls interacted, so they may have went out of their way to stop them from speaking about their payment issues.

I didn't think this was real. Of all the days to drop this. She really waited for a day when /vt was busy talking about something else.
I've been watching how /vt/ was reacting to this. They're taking about as well as you'd expect, and by that I mean not at all, they're still in the bargaining phase where they're posting fantasies of how her husband is abusive and any day now they're going to break up.

I've got this far-reaching schizo theory that Nimi's marriage announcement is her trying out something that could serve as the key to turning vtubing into a grand social engineering operation that, if complete, can fix sex relations (or at least a chunk of it on the male side) across the world. In a way, it would be her assuming the form of a deity to heal the world.
But that theory is out there, it really feels like I'm the sunny-in-philadelphia meme in that case.
Vshojo began taking money from venture capitalist firms in 2022, that money was effectively a glorified loan.
According to some quotes in images from this post, it wasn't just a glorified loan but an actual loan that they were supposed to pay back and it may be the exact thing that broke them.
What I mean is obvious from the quotes in the post but to have it in text itt for search purposes
>Vshojo takes a loan from venture capitalists
>loan comes with a contract that says past a certain point, the loan needs to be paid back and if they have any liquidity, paying the loan back takes priority over other expenses
>paying vtubers or keeping charity money promises falls under 'other expenses' and thus takes a back seat
>Ironmouse expects to get paid and for them to pay out the charity money they owe
>Because company's financials are completely in the shitter, any cash flowing in goes straight to paying off the loan and the vtubers see jack shit
>Getting completely fucked over despite the company chugging along month after month is what drove Ironmouse to burn shit down.

Translation: I signed a contract and didn't want to be sued
That is an understandable reason.

I've heard that's how Hololive was "forced" to go public. Yagoo preferred not to, but a moment came when it was either conjure massive cash out of nowhere or cede the company to "investors" who'd dismantle it and have a yard sale.

With investors, you lose.

(Yagoo didn't lose. We did.)

The Vshojo shit is the culmination of multiple unprofessional whores and their nepo hire managers. A house of cards on a foundation of sand on the back of BPD Legbeard whores. It was always going to end this way. I'd say I was sad KSon got dragged through this but she's either knowingly lied about Vshojo being creator first and getting good deals right up until this current incident. Or she just didn't give a fuck to ask anyone else what their deal was like until they stopped paying her.

Fucking hell we really are in the dark age of Vtubing. I want to go back to 2020. I want Coco saying faggot on stream again whilst bitching about her old work and her whore sister. Not this. Anything but this.

This is true, and even that seemed to be so poorly managed that Matara had to use Bricky's merch company which most likely caused her departure. Their contracts always seemed too great to be financially viable, I remember learning that they covered therapy for talents when they signed Michi up and wondering how they can stay afloat.
I will continue reiterating fisman's comment: if you want a company to invest in you, you need to be a good investment for them. This shit show is a good illustration of why even being on the good end of a bad investment for the company is a bad position to be in.
