I kind of agree with that... Obama's deportation numbers were faked; if someone was turned away from entering the US, they counted that as a deportation.

But Trump has the opportunity to exceed that and say, "I did even more than Obama PRETENDED to do! Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

But I agree with you overall, it would be a big domestic win if he ended military adventurism as the American people clearly want and voted for.

I'm not trying to excuse this, but you have to admit it's a lot easier to pump up deportation numbers when they're coming across the border on a daily basis.

That said, yes, let's crank those number up so no one can ever make that argument again. Hernandez the Mechanic? Out. Guadalupe the farmer? Out. Ramirez the Taco Abuela? Out.

Deport 'em all.

Yes but see here's the catch with MAGA. They want to say 1 MILLION PEOPLE HAVE SELF-DEPORTED THOSE COUNT THOSE COUNT. You can't have it both ways, where you count vague, meaningless stats you like then say O's stats don't count, even with the fuckery.

Edit: meaning, MAGA's deportation numbers are just as much the same sort of BS as O's but they sure will argue with you about how real they are.
