I've had a passive interest in the selfshipper
kittyplushy (Julianne) for a bit. Her sole F/O is Samantha Strong from
Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees, a comic in which Sam (as the series' antagonist) kills nearly four dozen cute cartoon animal citizens of a town over the span of a few decades. She mainly caught my eye for having public breakdowns she shares to main selfship tags that are over issues other than doubles, but she's reblogged a handful of posts in anticipation of her first F/O anniversary that are more immediately interesting than that. When I mentioned above that Julianne has a tendency to main-tag her selfship-related breakdowns, but that it's not over nonsense related to "doubles", I mean that she instead cyclically implodes over functionally-canon information like this. She fell for an emotionally-incapable serial killer and has a very hard time accepting that she wouldn't exactly be loved back, which in turn produces posts like these:
Post #1 is littered with main tags for both the source material and self/yumeship general posts—including multiple positivity tags.
Above all I'm vaguely fascinated by the juxtaposition of shit like this to
her elaborate relationship lore and how she conducts herself otherwise. I think she even mentioned having run (or still running?) a dedicated
BTTWNS blog for canon discussion which puts this even more at odds.
