Dunno what led them to finally directly put Trump into the spotlight after a near decade of abstinence, was it Epstein?
uh what? They have been making fun of trump for a decade at this point.
Copied from Hollywood Reporter:
During the 2016 election, Stone and Parker expressed uncertainty about the best way to add Trump to the show or how to lampoon him amid his chaotic march to the presidency. Instead, they opted at the time to use the show’s Mr. Garrison character as a stand-in for the 45th president.

The two biggest contributors to this are the Iran bombing and Epstein.
It's worth mentioning that this complete shift in approval has not seen a resurgence in Democrat popularity. Young people aren't upset at Trump for being too much of a far-right extremist, they're upset that he's not far-right enough, and just a generic neocon.
Trump promised America First, young people voted for America First, and yet they get John McCain.

Oh no! He'll never get re-elected at this rate!
Part of me thinks people are mad about the Epstein thing. Regardless, I'm just disillusioned with American politics in general, and I can't force myself to lie to myself anymore and lump myself into either red tribe or blue tribe when you've done as much reading of political history and objective observing and reflective thinking as I have the past five years. I don't like either option, and if the mentality is "just hold your nose and vote R because you despise everything D stands for", then there really is no option for people like me who are politically homeless, is there?

EDIT: Ninja'd by @Velociraptor - you are spot on; "the man isn't far right enough" is a major contributing factor. As I said above, I don't like either party. There is nobody to vote for if the policy doesn't change or fix anything, but the rhetoric promises things too good to be true.

Why would anybody ever believe this is real...?

I'm supposed to believe that all of these under 30 somethings were pro Trump up until he started doing the exact things he said he would? Yea, ok, sure.

Also the idea that 3/4's of people under 30 disapprove of Trump is laughably insane. Like, oh man, all these niggas only gave a shit about was Iran and the Epstein list, really?

Does Rasmussen have a similar poll about support for Trump among the zoomers and late Millenials? I would expect there to be a small yet recoverable drop since January, but nothing like what the legacy media is trying to astroturf.

I mean it depends on what direct means. Mr. garrison was literally painted orange, had the trump hair cut and was portrayed as a gay retard. If that is not direct what is?

I mean apparently the news orgs are declaring that people think deportations have gone to far?

It probably has to do with Epstein and the job market, all the "good" things trump says will work out will only come to fruition (if at all) at later dates, yet there are some issues that he has not addressed at all like the H1B question.

The post immediately after the quoted one made me laugh because they are NOT beating the jewish daycare allegations. :story:

The White House rapid response account just put out a tweet transcribing an executive order that Trump just signed focused on the homeless crisis (T/A). Some bullet points that stood out to me from reading it:
  • Bringing back civil commitment for the mentally ill
  • Defunding "safe consumption" drug programs
  • Raising the standards for transitional housing to exclude drug addicts who make no effort to get clean
  • Higher scrutiny against homeless sex offenders, tracking their whereabouts better and not housing them with homeless women and children

When are the tax cuts going into effect? I'm still forking over the same amount from my paycheck to Uncle Sam before the bill was signed.
I'm suspecting many of the income tax ones will take effect for 2026 because the tax changes from Trump's first term were set to go through now. Best to check with your trusted tax pro for specifics.

On the business side, 100% bonus depreciation was made permanent retroactive to 19-Jan-2025.

Democrats Have Few Tools to Counter G.O.P. Redistricting
As much as partisan gerrymandering sucks, Dems still find ways to complain when the independent committees they appoint to do redistricting don't give them what they want.

A state in my part of Kiwi Land has such a committee to do redistricting and they did their best to come up with districts that were as close to 50-50 as reasonably possible. The Dems still complained saying they weren't black enough or they combined communities that shouldn't be together in order to because the Dems still wanted districts that were more blue-leaning. The It's okay only when we do it mindset is still very much alive.

Vance commented on Microsoft replacing Americans:
He does have a point. Microsoft making mass layoffs and having a short turnaround between that and their desire to fill almost as many positions with H1-B imports leaves a strong perception they want cheap foreign labor and they have no leg to stand on about the lack of qualified Americans.

Trump’s EPA is Making Gas Cans Great Again:
the "push to let gas flow" feature doesn't work.
I had to begrudgingly get one of these cans last year: 0/10 would not recommend to friends or enemies. Trying to fill the lawnmower was more complicated than it needed to be as the push to flow mechanism was moody and would let gas pour faster than necessary; during one such fill up, the temperamental mechanism let more gas slosh out that day than in my life up to that point. Thank Godbear I later found an old 2 1/2 gallon gas can without the safety feature hiding in the back of the garage. I now use that one instead.

There's nothing wrong with safe gasoline storage and handling. Like anything else, we went from one extreme to the the other with a solution that created just as many new issues.

"Asked" - lol
While I doubt he said, "Pretty please, don't do this or I'll have to impose tariffs," His negotiation tactics are such that I'd expect him to ask nicely and professionally at first and then start playing hardball if he gets no response or an unfavorable one.

Check it out, the neetpocalpse is worldwide
This is the end result of white guilt activists telling white men all over the world that they don't deserve to have nice things and they need to abase themselves for all the alleged wrongdoings of white people since the beginning of time.

Edited for spelling and clarity.

LMFAO!!! Now the braindead fools who wail about Reagan "releasing lunatics onto the streetls" (despite the fact that it was the Democrat Party and Tip O'Neill who spearheaded, orchestrated, and implemented deinstitutionalization) are all BTFO. Daddy T is locking up the bad people again. Wow! It almost makes up for the fact that he's a fucking pedophile!

Well I mean if the options are - A. getting scammed - or - B. getting raped - and your response to that is "Oh man, I don't wanna get scammed so I can't vote for either of these" you've lost the plot.
The idea that you can't vote against being raped by migrants because you're afraid of or disillusioned about getting scammed is insane. Like buddy, they want to important infinity migrants knowing very well they will rape you and your family.
At least when it comes to Trumps retarded H1B position his base is against it. The alternative is people literally watching you get raped on a bus and not doing anything because we live in a world where you can go to jail for stopping it.

No idea, but I could totally see a small drop. The issue is that even after like a decade of proven lies, polls being shown to be completely wrong, etc, they still expect people to see something like "75% of people under 30 hate Trump" and not just laugh.
Like even if that shit was true I just can't imagine being a democrat shill, seeing those "statistics" and not going, "Nah, there's just no way anyone would believe this"

Personally, I think the MINIMAL DEPORTATIONS are just to get people used to photos of militarized police black bagging people to send to detentions centers and condition the future use of ImmigrationOS... aka like we tried to tell Republicans during the Patriot Act days, these things will be used against regular American citizens and within years not decades.
The DNC bares just as much to blame for this, their lack of any real effort to deal with issue of the border is the reason why Trump is now capable of making ICE so massive, powerful, and to a degree corrupt without any real pushback from the rest of the government outside of retarded mayors who NEED their mexican slaves.

You're gay, shouldn't you know how to spell "bears"?

Nobody's pushing back because everyone wants this. Even the technocrats are kind of shitting themselves now that they realize importation = drop in quality = drop in market cap
